Family holiday

Dan was an excellent host, offering great advice about local things to do. Xativa and it’s castle, centre and nature reserve kept us busy locally but Valencia is also a great city to visit

Luxury Villa

After a 4 night stay in busy Valencia we retired to this beautiful Villa in the hills above the town of Xativa for some R&R. The photos don’t do the property justice - from being welcomed at the gate to being given a detailed tour of the property and how everything worked. Dan the host is a star, the perfect balance between keeping out of the way for our privacy and always being just a quick WhatsApp message away from answering any of our daft questions “how do we open the washing machine”! We spent our time balanced between the pool which sits on a terrace above the property and visiting the nearby town for sightseeing and eating out. Highly recommend and thank you Dan again for making our stay so enjoyable

We stayed as a group of 9 adults at the villa to attend a wedding/turn that into a holiday in August 2016. The villa is nicely decorated and spacious. The pool area is particularly nice and a lovely touch. Having your own pool is a lovely luxury. The villa is situated a short drive from xativa town, there were lots of bars and restaurants around and loads of supermarkets. You would definitely need a car though, but there is ample parking at the villa. We had 4 cars and it was no trouble at all. Dan, the owner, was really helpful with recommendations of places to eat and offered to book tables for us. In fact, Dan was great at answering any of our questions as we kept in contact over whatsapp and he actually lives on the land in another house. Was very handy! The villa is very well stocked with cutlery, plates etc, and it was lovely to have access to a dishwasher with that many people as we ate in most evenings. For us the only small things that stopped the villa being a 5* was that there was only air conditioning in the lounge areas. This was lovely but it meant it got very warm in the bedrooms overnight, even with a freestanding fan on. The only other thing we missed was an area where we could all sit together to eat in the evenings without moving furniture around, which we were reluctant to do because we didn't want to cause any damage. We would also recommend that you check the arrangements for cleaning the villa, which I believe is not included in the price. We had a misunderstanding as we left which Dan was really good about and sorted quickly, but very nearly left us paying more than we had anticipated. Overall though we had a great stay and a lovely holiday and would recommend this villa if you're looking for somewhere in this area of Spain.

Vacaciones muy relajantes en familia. El anfitrión, Dan, que vive en la planta superior, fue muy atento y nos proporcionó todo lo que necesitamos durante la estancia. La casa es bonita y tranquila, con una barbacoa que disfrutamos muchísimo. La piscina, aunque está separada de la casa, la tuvimos solo para nosotros. Como punto a mejorar, señalaría que solo hay aire acondicionado en el salón; en las habitaciones hay ventiladores, pero en la habitación interior mi hija pasó bastante calor. En general, una estancia muy agradable y recomendable.

Unser zweiwöchiger Aufenthalt in diesem Anwesen war in jeder Hinsicht ein Traum. Das Haus selbst entspricht dem allerhöchsten Standard – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, makellos gepflegt und ausgestattet mit allem, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Der großzügige Garten und der herrliche Pool haben für pure Entspannung gesorgt und machten jeden Tag zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Gastgeber, Dan.Mit seiner diskreten Art trug er dazu bei, dass wir unsere Privatsphäre in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Dennoch war er bei Bedarf sofort erreichbar und hat alles getan, um uns einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen.

La casa es espectacular, muy amplia y muy bien acondicionada. La piscina no está al lado del porche, ha que andar 1 minuto a donde se encuentra y es totalmente privada. Daniel es una persona que siempre está para lo que necesites y te facilita todo lo que el puede. Muy recomendable el alojamiento.

Einfach traumhaft

Eigentümer Dan und seine Familien wohnen auch auf dem Grundstück. Wir sind am Anreisetag erst spät abends angekommen. Dan hat auf uns gewartet und uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Haus ist so liebevoll und schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt direkt wohl und ist sofort in Urlaubsstimmung. Der Pool wird (wenn nötig) täglich gereinigt und sauber gehalten. Dan und seine Familie schaffen es unbemerkt mit uns dort zu leben. In den 12 Tagen hatten wir totale Privatsphäre und fühlten uns immer alleine auf dem Grundstück. Bei Fragen oder Problemen reichte eine kurze Textnachricht und es wurde sofort geantwortet. Wir werden das Haus und die Gastgeber in guter Erinnerung behalten und bestimmt irgendwann mal wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für Alles.

Super relaxed

De gehele accommodatie is in een goede, schone staat. Je kan hier ontzettend goed tot rust komen, lekker weg van de grote drukte. Wij hebben hier in de regio bijvoorbeeld GEEN andere Nederlanders gezien. De stad Valencia is een kleine 45minuten rijden, Alicante ca 1,5uur. Beiden dus nog super goed te doen. Verder geen opmerkingen, gewoon waar voor je geld.

Vacaciones en familia

La casa está muy bien,como aparece en las fotos. Dan es una persona muy amable y te ayuda en lo que necesites. Pasamos 12 días estupendos disfrutando de la casa y tuvimos intimidad desde el inicio. Visitamos playa,cascadas,pozas..hicimos rutas fáciles con los niños..y todo cercano. Recomendamos 100% este alojamiento.

Agréable et reposant

Nous cherchions un endroit calme et privé afin de nous reposer après une année éprouvante de travail et de mauvais temps , dommage que se soit un peu loin de la mers . Dan est un hôte sympathique qui prend le temps de vous accueillir et répond rapidement au demande, l’endroit est parfait pour une famille dommage qu’il n’ait pas de toilettes prêt de la piscine et qu’il faille prendre la voiture pour faire c’est courses ou manger au restaurant mais bon on ne peut pas tout avoir

Unser Familienurlaub

Vorab möchten wir sagen, dass Daniel ein ganz toller Gastgeber ist. Hilfsbereit, sofort zu Stelle wenn man ihn braucht. Dank Google Übersetzer war die Verständigung überhaupt kein Problem für uns. Das Apartment war genau so, wie in der Beschreibung. Bei richtiger Nutzung der Klimaanlage waren alle Räume immer gut gekühlt. Die Außenanlagen war sehr gut gepflegt. Das Highlight war für uns der Pool. Täglich hat Daniel den Pool und Terrasse gereinigt. Absolute Ruhe und alles für die Familie alleine. Was man braucht ist definitiv ein Auto um in die schöne Ortschaft Xativa zu kommen (ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto) oder zum Einkauf. Auch zu empfehlen ist ein Besuch der Burg. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt - auch dank Daniel.

Séjour inoubliable

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans la maison de Dan. Magnifique maison, la cerise sur le gâteau, une superbe piscine privée. Dan est très à l’écoute, agréable, super hôte. Maison à proximité des commerces et beaucoup de visites à faire aux alentours. Le château de xativa est magnifique à visiter. Vacances inoubliables.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons apprécié le calme de cette maison. Une ville avec son charme et belle a visiter. Centre commercial proche. Valence très rapide d'accès grâce a la 2x2. Dan est très sympathique. Conversation assez compliquer au vu de notre espagnol médiocre mais nous nous sommes très bien compris. Merci encore.

Wunderschönes Apartment in ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Unterkunft mit allem Komfort. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr stylisch, modern und funktional. Das Apartment sowie die Aussenanlagen (chillout area , Pool und Wege sind sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail zu beschreiben. Lugar acogedor y tranquilo

Hemos pasado cinco días estupendos en este alojamiento. La tranquilidad del lugar, la casa tan bonita (con todos los detalles) y la amabilidad y ayuda de Dan han hecho que hayamos disfrutado tanto. Très bonne location pour d’agreables vacances

Location idéale pour une famille de 4 personnes. Cuisine parfaitement équipée. De nombreux équipements de loisir : billard, jeu de fléchettes, piscine, barbecue. Descanso y tranquilidad

El alojamiento es cómo sale en las fotos y resulta muy cómodo , por poner un pero tuvimos problemas con la conexión de tv y wifi y al llevar un niño resultó más molesto el no tener tv
