"Conveniently located in London."
We stayed at the Grange St. Paul's for 6 nights. We were treated like royalty. Sincerely welcomed upon arrival, we were made to feel that it was a genuine expression by everyone on the staff for the entire time of our stay. At checkout, I was made to feel that our choice of Grange St. Paul's was deeply appreciated by the receptionist. If we return to London, we will surely want to stay at the Grange St. Paul's.

"Great hotel, our third stay "
This is the third time we have stayed at Apex Court & we can't recommend it highly enough. I booked it as part of a surprise trip for my partner's Birthday. On finding out it was her Birthday the very friendly hotel staff upgraded our room, which was very much appreciated & a nice touch. The room was very comfortable & well appointed. The breakfast was excellent too. The hotel itself is in a great location in historic Blackfriars with St Paul's Cathedral & the Millenium Bridge a short walk away while Covent Garden, Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square etc only £7-10 in a cab (at most). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

"Amazing hotel in great location...But"
The hotel was amazing, the bar staff were very helpful offering great conversation, amazing drink advice, and Help on which locations you should see for a vacation. the only downfall to the hotel I would say, would be the room size, my first night was in a single bed, that was too small so I upgraded to the Superior Double, which was bigger and had a better shower. But the room seemed to be too small for the price. But I made the best if it.

"Excellent hotel in central location"
Stayed for the weekend with my wife. Hotel is very central (walk to Covent Garden in 5 mins) and of a high standard. The staff were fantastic, hotel very clean. Will go back with my children at Christmas for a shopping weekend if they have family rooms. Fantastic break.

"Hotel with a fairly good location."
For a Continental breakfast, this had everything you could reasonably expect. Plenty to eat and good variety. In the few days we were there the dining room was never full. The biggest disappointment was in the size of the room. It was classed as small, but if you opened your suitcase on the floor, you were not able to open the door. If all you need is abed, then this hotel is to be recommended.

Within the Kings Cross Station one minute from the Eurostar! Was amazed at how this tight space was transformed into a 5 star hotel. The pantry idea is just awesome. Loved every bit of the one night stay. Staff was great.

    Where to stay in London?

Samuel Johnson once said that when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life. Considering the buzzing energy of this capital city, it’s true that if London bores you it might be time to check your pulse. From a thriving theatre scene in the West End to thumping night clubs near Piccadilly Circus, London has something for everyone. Dive into the museums, take a tour of the historic Parliament building along the Thames, and savour a fine meal at any number of impressive restaurants. As if that weren’t enough, the Camden Lock and Portobello Road markets turn any lazy Sunday into an adventure.

    Travel Basics

London is serviced by several airports, the largest of which is Heathrow (LHR). You can also fly into London Gatwick (LGW), London Luten (LTN), and Stansted (STN), which are a bit farther from the city centre. Regardless of which airport you fly into, you can reach London proper via train, coach, or car.

    Plan Your Getaway to London

Whether you are on a quest to soak up some art, taking a culinary tour, or just want to ride an iconic red bus, London is always a good idea. London eludes definition. A place of extremes and contradictions, it has transformed from robustly English capital to truly multicultural city. Having experienced Renaissance, revolution, and revival, and survived fire, plague, and war, the city has a pretty interesting history, the best of which it holds on to. Visit its monuments and museums and you'll come across ancient and modern London, and learn about its wealth, poverty, ambitions, reality, and make-believe. From the Tower of London to Buckingham Palace, the major monuments pull in the crowds, but make sure you take some time to explore its back alleys, quiet squares, and colorful markets.

    Art in the city

As red buses, black cabs, and pigeons encircle Trafalgar Square, there is no mistaking where you are. Stop by the National Gallery to look at some of the world's finest artworks, ranging from Leonardo's meticulous sketches to Turner's chromatic landscapes, or for a fix of modern art, visit the converted Bankside power station, the Tate Modern. The gallery covers art from 1900 to the present day, and its enormous Turbine Hall displays specially commissioned works.

    Razzmatazz and all that jazz

Finding entertainment in London is as easy as finding books in a library. In the West End theater district, you can choose from musicals, theater, and comedy shows. Based on the songs of the band Queen, We Will Rock You is currently showing at the Dominion theater. From April to October, you can see some of Shakespeare's greatest plays in the faithfully reconstructed Globe theater. It's no surprise that London attracts influential artists from all musical genres; and you can listen in pubs, theaters, basements, arenas, churches, and parks.

    Serious shopping and hearty meals

There's great shopping throughout the city. From high-end Harrods to cheap and cheerful Camden market, the city caters to every budget and taste. When it comes to food, the same rule applies, so whether you're after a comforting English breakfast, a reviving curry, or tea at the Ritz, you'll never run out of options.

The London Eye will give you a bird's-eye view of the river Thames looping through the capital, as well as the city's many parks. In a city of skyscrapers, buildings on top of buildings, and crowded public transport, London is thankfully protective of its beautiful green spaces. Find everything from rose garden to meadow and woodland in its eight Royal Parks, which offer free guided walks to explore the flora and fauna, and trace the city's royal, political, and literary associations.
