"Nice hotel. "
Pros - location right near tram and bus stop to all theme parks. Helpful staff. Lovely bath you could lay down in. Air conditioning. Cons - would wake up when people shut their doors. Bathroom smelt average as did the fridge. King bed was two beds joined together. All things we didn't mind that much though.

"Very convenient hotel close to everything. "
Overall great stay, concereige very helpful. Travel booking desk was very handy. Pillows were very hard however they did not hesitate to change them to a softer pillow. The only bad thing was the hard beds which after a few nights took its toll on our backs.

"Nice big room with pleasant views over harbour"
I was pleasantly suprised at the size of the room which inc. 2 queen beds plus lounge and table for dining. The view over the harbour was nice although being on Level 5 was partially blocked by the twin towns club. The things I didnt like about the room were: 1) absolutely no water pressure which made showering unpleasant, 2) the faux leather lounge was uncomfortable to sit on and 3) I had to go and buy a pillow as the ones there were flat and I prefer something fluffy. So these are just little things that niggled me may not bother someone else. I had requested a high floor but was told that the hotel rooms only go to Level 5 and then all apartments. Also apartments only in the harbour tower which would have had a much better view over the boat harbour. Activities were good, 2 pools, 2 spas, tennis, mini golf and games room were all used however the spa was only lukewarm could have been set higher.

"Comfortable hotel close to excellent dining "
Only 57 parking spaces for 142 units - ridiculous. How did that get Council approval?

"Quirky and comfortable hotel"
Loved this hotel. It was supposed to be a child free stay for myself and my husband but last minute we had to take our 2 year old with us. Staff were very accommodating and provided a cot complete with bedding. Fantastic location walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. Clean and comfortable and I loved the quirky decor. Will definitely stay here again.

"Good location. The room was very dated."
I paid extra for a beachfront room view and when I arrived I was placed into a room along the outside of the hotel. I then had to remove all my luggage and wait another 2 hours until they put me in the correct room. During my three day stay there were constant workmen on scaffolding outside our windows completing maintenance and cleaning windows which made it very awkward and a big loss of privacy. The room was very dated and appeared grubby. There is also NO balcony. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. I would not stay here again.

"Great Exterior Ok Interior"
Staff were friendly and provided information on parking, dining etc. The room needed an update. It was very worn and the sliding door was hard to open to the balcony due to build up of dirt etc. The bedroom could have been purked up a bit, maybe add some nice canvas prints in colour as it was a little bland.

"2 Adults 2 Children - no problems. "
We had a garden spa room that easily catered for 2 Adults and 2 Children. From check in to check out including dinner and breakfast all plain sailing. The staff are a credit to themselves and their employer. Terrific stay.

    Accommodation in Gold Coast

Gold Coast is more than just kilometres of stunning beaches and impressive waves–though it is these features that often draw visitors to the area. This Queensland city is also the most populated non-capital city in Australia, bringing with that title a wealth of culture, art, and fine gastronomy. Become a beachcomber on peaceful Bilinga Beach or Byron Bay, trek through the rainforest, and cap off your day of adventure with some modern Australian cuisine. Whether you are travelling for leisure, business, or adventure, Gold Coast welcomes you with open arms.

Things to Do in Gold Coast

From national parks and amusement parks to blissful beaches and natural wonders, a world of adventure awaits you in Gold Coast. One of the primary reasons so many tourists flock to this destination each year, is the rich variety of theme parks this area has to offer. Dreamworld Gold Coast, Australia®, the country’s largest theme park, is just a few kilometres northeast of Gold Coast’s sand and features dozens of rides and thrills for the whole family to experience. Thirsty for more? There’s also Wet’n’Wild® Gold Coast, Warner Bros. Movie World™, and Dreamworld™ Happiness among many other action-packed attractions.

If rollercoasters aren’t your thing, yet you’re still yearning for a good adventure, the TreeTop Challenge in nearby North Tamborine dares you to balance and swing your way from tree to tree through 10 acres of woodland. The Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk offers a similar experience, though without the adrenaline-inducing feats. Alternatively, the Infinity Attraction, mere steps from the sand in Surfers Paradise, provides a more cerebral experience that is every bit as exciting as the heart-pounding rides. When you’re ready to take a break from the action and soak up some of the local culture, the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens offer an eyeful of the local plant life, while the Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery affords you an opportunity to taste some of the region’s finest wines.

    Weather in Gold Coast

With its humid subtropical climate, the Gold Coast doesn’t experience extreme weather at any time of year. Temperatures rarely dip below 12 degrees Celsius, even during the coldest time of year. At the other end of the spectrum, summers can get a little steamy, but the mercury mostly stays below 30 degrees Celsius. Rainfall is heaviest in the summer months, and often arrives in the form of thunderstorms or strong showers that can occasionally last weeks at a time. The winter months are comparatively dry, and thanks to the comfortable weather in this season, it’s regarded as one of the best times of year to visit Gold Coast.
