"We were very happy with our stay. The motel rooms have been beautifully updated and the balinese theme is lovely. The kitchen area was wonderful surprise. Bathroom tiles need updating to complete the job but the bathroom was clean and all other fittings were modern and tasteful. We found the walk to the shops through streets with lovely old homes very nice, finishing up for dinner at a very nice club just a 10 minute walk from the motel."

"My son and I stayed at the Richmond Motor Inn during the flooding in Ballina. I can't say that it was comfortable, because we lost electricity and internet, but that was unavoidable and throughout the whole ordeal, the staff was amazing. They kept everyone updated as they received news and provided food as all shops were closed in town. The woman who cleaned the rooms was a machine and constantly checking in to see if people needed towels or biscuits...coffee, tea. Although we were there in the midst of a natural disaster and so much tragedy, I left the inn feeling positive about the state of the world because of the kind people I encountered at Richmond Motor Inn.
