The location is great as it is in walking distance to everything you need. Unfortunately the stay wasn't great due to the service, rude staff, our room not being what we expected, driving around the carpark for nearly an hour trying to find a park and the inability to meet lift demands due to COVID - yes, not their fault but if you can't meet the demand don't take so many bookings. Stairs are great but not for the elderly, injured or people with lots of luggage - especially if you're on a higher floor. 1. Not all "Ocean View" rooms are ocean view unless you lean over your balcony and look to the right. 2. Some staff are rude, argue with you and make you feel like a burden when you raise an issue to see if it can be rectified 3. One of the managers is extremely passive aggressive and unprofessional 4. 40 minute wait times for an elevator isn't fun, we'd probably still be waiting if we hadn't called and got a manager to come up and get us so we could just check out and get out of the place While we understand that COVID has had a huge impact and things have changed, it doesn't excuse rudeness of staff or 40 minute plus wait times for an elevator. We spent majority of our stay just trying to get out of the hotel or up to our floor due to only being allowed 2 people in a lift at a time but not all lifts seeming to be working. We acknowledged to the staff that we understand they are under the pump, but only one staff member acknowledged that our stay was also not nice.
