"The Treasury Hotel is built into a superbly maintained historic government office building. The room we had was large, airy with high ceilings and a nice ensuite bathroom. It was so quiet due to thick walls. It's a short walk to the CBD shopping mall, the Botanical Garden and South Bank park, via a footbridge over the Brisbane River. This place is such a character property with very central location, we had a great stay. Would strongly recommend!!"

"Of you’re every in Brisbane, this is the place to stay. The attention to detail in maintaining its heritage character was wonderful. The large well appointed room and bathroom was appreciated. Five minutes down the hill to restaurants and a further five minutes to the botanical gardens made this a very accessible location. Loved our one night stay there. "

"A great place for a night or two in town. Location is excellent. The room, actually well-equipped self-contained apartment complete with a washer/dryer and kitchen, are a bit dated but very functional and spacious. The breakfast included in the tariff is excellent too, definitely a strong feature of staying here. It’s served in a lovely dedicated breakfast room with a nice outlook and the serving staff are very friendly and accommodating. Can recommend! BTW there is a dedicated 10min parking zone at the front door of the hotel. Hotel parking is in a nearby commercial car park which at the outset is a little annoying but it works out really well and is very close and easy to navigate when considering luggage transfer activities. Also, hotel parking fee allows you to park until midnight on the day of departure but beware of the carpark’s hours of operation as it may shut earlier than expected and before the midnight cutoff. "

"Check in was fast and efficient, staff at check in were nice and professional. Room is very worn out and needs to be freshened up. Looks like walls have had damage and been patched up in the living room. The wall in the hallway needs a clean as there are wet marks on there, almost like they haven’t been wiped down properly. Could feel the middle part of the mattress where the two mattresses connect. Damage to the table out on the balcony. Not sure if the door on the shower was damaged and a shower curtain has been put on. Location of hotel is good. "

"Pleasant enough stay and the staff were all lovely but the hotel room we had is in desperate need of a proper deep clean. There were stains on every surface in the room including the ceiling. Disappointing as would expect more from an IHG hotel."
