The pool area is lovely for families with a reasonably priced pool cafe. We were disappointed there was no bar as we would have enjoyed having a drink in the evening.

This accomodation is 3 star at best. Very tired rooms. The ducted air con barely felt working throughout our stay. Dated bathrooms with mouldy grout, rusting shower screens, constant urine smell around the toilet area. Important to note there is no room service. Despite the Mantra branded Dominos pamphlet on the fridge that offers ‘pickup or in room service’. It is NOT in room service. So if you are solo parenting and have a vomiting 3 year old, you either have to take them with you to outside reception to pick up your delivery - or leave them in the room by themselves. The pirate pool area is designed well for children however, it is a little grimy. The slide is ingrained with dirt and the pool is a haven for algae. The pool kiosk does not do room charge and only do cash - because, who doesn’t want to to leave their unattended wallet full of cash in a bag by the pool... So make sure you take cash or you will inevitably have to take your belongings and wet and frustrated 3 and 1 year old out of the pool and back to the hotel room to get the all important cash. A very disappointing stay.
