"Nice hotel but best for those with a car"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Heritage, Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but if you are in the Waterfall Wing ask not to be too close to the road end. The beds are very soft - and might be too soft for some. The only down-side is the walk to town that takes 15 minutes - quite a hill on the way back from town.

"Relaxing luxury paradise with service at its best!"
Gorgeous, breathtaking views no matter where you look. Stunning views of the lake and the mountains can be seen from your bed, the couch, and even from the tub in the bathroom. A private patio surrounds you in serene landscapes and lovely sounds and allows you to totally escape and leave all your worries behind. The staff is so friendly. From the moment we pulled up, they made sure our bags made it to our room immediately and they helped us book all our activities right away based on the length of our stay and the weather forecasts. The staff is very organized and attentive to your needs. Then there are the rooms. Each room is a full private lodge with buttons and switches for everything. Heated floors, automatic fireplace, jetted tub, surround sound for the t.v. and any music device, and enough lights to set any kind of mood. All drinks and snacks in the room are complimentary except for any hard alcohol. You don’t have to worry about being nickel and dimed at Azur. It is truly luxury at its best. Everything is tranquil and worry free. They even provide complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and refreshments, and pre-dinner canapés. For dinner, if you choose to stay in and not go out to town, you can order from a list of restaurants in the area and they will bring the food to you and set it up at no extra charge (just pay for the food)! Everything at Azur is absolutely exquisite! You can't go wrong here. If it's something you can afford, don't miss out or you'll regret it!

"View to die for"
I loved the fact that it was close to town ,and you could walk to the shops and restaurants, yet still in a quiet street. I could have sat and looked at the view of the snowcapped mountains and the lake for hours, if there hadn't been somuch to do in queenstown.

"Very clean hotel with friendly staff"
Stayed for 8 days. I was with my 10 years old fussy-eater, so unfortunately we did not take the advantage of their famous breakfast, but judging by the look of canapes they served at happy hour, it was my loss. It was lovely experience. The hotel was clean and warm, which was very important to us. The staff would go out of their way to accommodate our needs. Very friendly atmosphere. If you are catching a bus to the ski fields the location is bonus. The city and the restaurants are only a short stroll away. We will definitely go back.

"Service was superb."
Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Can't comment on dining; we ate out for every meal except for the continental breakfast, which had an excellent choice. Generally, everything met or exceeded expectations, which were high.

Suite was not ready at 2 pm checkin. Had to wait 45 minutes. 2 drink vouchers given. When we went up to the room, the sofa bed was broken so they kindly brought a Rolla way.
