2 cozy cottages on Green Lake


Two cozy cabins for rent, nestled on the North Shore of beautiful Green Lake in Spicer, MN. The water here is crystal clear and shallow with a sand lake bottom; perfect for swimming and children. The rocks in the pictures are there to support the retaining wall. A minimum of 3 nights is required.

2023 Availability:
Sept: $175 / night. 3 night minimum

The property owners live part-time in the lake facing cabin ("Cabin 1"), but will not be staying onsite during your stay. Your group will have full access to the back two cabins ("Cabin 2” and "Cabin 3"). Cabins 2 & 3 are always rented together. Each cabin has a full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. These little cabins are clean, comfortable, and cozy. Each cabin has air conditioning. The back two cabins sleep 8 people in beds. Cabin 2 has two bedrooms, sleeping 5 people in beds – the first with a queen bed and the second with twin bunks plus a twin bed. Cabin 3 has one bedroom, sleeping 3 people in beds – a full bed and a twin bed.

Wonderful place
We stayed in September 2022 and enjoyed our time. Cottages were clean, everything was in there as stated as far as towels, pots and pans, etc. Owners were great at communicating with us. I would not hesitate recommending this listing.

Just what we needed…
Definitely rustic and on the small/cozy side, but was as advertised and just what we needed. Air conditioning held out through high heat. Recreation amenities were readily available although we didn’t take advantage of them as we spent most of our time visiting local family. Had some wifi reliability issues at first but Jon got us fixed up quickly and happily. Will definitely check for availability next time we visit.

Great Cabins and Responsive Host
We needed the cabin to hold 7 guys and we were all able to sleep and enjoy the common spaces comfortably. We arrived late the first night and our host was great about explaining the check-in process ahead of time! All 7 of us would recommend this location. No issues for our group throughout our 3 night stay and location near the waterfront is ideal!

Fun family vacation!!
Great area, comfortable and cozy cottages, beautiful lake. It was hot during our stay and we were grateful that the cottages had air conditioning. We were able to sleep well after playing in the water all day. Hosts are very kind and accommodating. Would stay again.

Fantastic lakefront cabins
We absolutely loved our stay at these cabins! They're so clean and well maintained that you actually forget that you're in a cabin rather than a real house. The owners were very receptive to our questions, and easily accommodated our late arrival time. While the weather wasn't quite warm enough for us to venture into the lake, everything was all set up and would have been perfect if it had been later in the summer. The only thing I would say you need to be aware of is that the dividing walls in the bigger cabin don't go all the way to the ceiling, and the doors are curtains, which means it's more like one big room. We were there with a baby (7 months) so when he was sleeping we had to be particularly careful about noise as it's really just one big room. It's not a problem as we could go hang out in the other cabin, or outside; I mention it only has something to be aware of it you have very light sleepers who need total silence. But for older children or adults, the set up works well and it didn't hamper our experience in any way. We would absolutely stay there again, and hope that we get the chance!

Cabin is very clean and the accommodations were exactly what we needed for our visit. Great location on beautiful Green Lake. We enjoyed sitting by the water in the mornings and afternoons taking out the paddle boat. Netflix and board games in the evening. Jon and Meghan are wonderful hosts. Hope to be back again!
