The happy place was very clean with plenty of towels and kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. Sherry was an excellent host, very sweet and nice. Would definitely stay there again.

This was an awesome experience on a farm! We stayed here to visit the ark and loved the family friendly environment! Sherry even made sure there were toys available! Recommend this location for anyone visiting the area

The house was absolutely, without a doubt, the perfect, cozy, comforting place to stay for rest and relaxation. Anyrhing you needed, it was there at the house. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the hostess with a warm welcome which was quite comforting and welcoming. We were visiting the Ark Encounter which is aboit 15 minutes away. This place is a MUST stay. Above all, you will be touched deeply by a beautiful soul.

Anniversary getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Sherry had everything we needed at the house. She even greeted us with some delicious homemade bread. We even lit a fire and roasted hot dogs on our last night at the firepit

Property took me back to my childhood a little town in West Tenn. The place was just comforting. I was able to sit on front porch rocking with my coffee and the sun rise. So much better than hotel stay worth the extra coins.

A Happy Place Encounter

Enjoyed The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum and Claiborne Horse Farm. But it was absolutely heavenly to come back to Sherry’s Happy Place and unwind after each busy day. Perfect place for a quiet getaway.

Arc Encounter Happy Place

The owner was exceptional. The location is remote in the facility is not new but very nice and large. Fully functioning, fully equipped and wonderfully private. A little bit of a distance to get to, but that’s a necessity if it’s going to be remote in private. Great proximity to the arc encounter.

Very Quiet

This place is wonderful. Very clean and Ms Sherry is so sweet and helpful. I loved the fire pit, porch swing. Only thing I would have done different. Is to bought some groceries before we got there. Other than that it’s a great place for a getaway. It’s so peaceful.planning going back in the fall.

Wonderful place to stay

We came to visit the Ark and this was the perfect place if you aren’t into the hotel thing. So close to the Ark! Secluded, so private and perfect for a family as it was for just the two of us as well. This old farm house is so well kept, clean, roomy and comfortable. Nice little getaway, we enjoyed out stay at Sherry’s Happy Place and appreciated her hospitality. Thank you again Sherry, we were very blessed with our trip to Kentucky from A-Z.

It was comfortable, peaceful and accommodating! There was great attention to small details. We had everything you would need for a comfortable stay for two toddlers and a Grandma! Highly recommended. The owner was a delight.

Annual road trip

This is the perfect place to stay to get away and enjoy nature and peace and quiet. The house is amazing and very clean and the hostess makes sure your stay is amazing! Highly recommended!!!

Restful, Quiet and Creative

I am so thankful that I found My Happy Place when searching for a place for my mom and I to stay. We both so appreciated Sherry's hospitality and loved her creative decorating. Pleasant, spacious and carefully tended, this cottage is tucked amid quiet, rolling green hills. The privacy and peaceful countryside was such a blessing. Being close to the Ark was ideal.
