This is a nice, clean little house in a quiet neighborhood. It’s close to the Ark Encounter. Charles is very friendly and quick to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved the charm and cleanliness of this well-kept home in a clean and family-friendly neighborhood. We all felt like we were visiting grandma’s house with the neat vintage furniture in the kitchen and the country charm throughout the house. We enjoyed the large trees, green grass and sitting on the front porch drinking our coffee. It was the perfect location for our family trip to the Ark Encounter.

Sunset Cottage was a wonderful experience for us. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a well kept yard large enough for children to enjoy. The location is close to the Ark Encounter and downtown. We had to contact Charles a couple of times, nothing major. But he came by to make sure everything was satisfactory. He is a great host. We highly recommend this cottage!

This home felt like a nice place to relax and enjoy some meals together. The antique touches in the kitchen just added to it's charm. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. All of our communication with the owner was quick and polite.

Relaxing stay

The property is just what our family needed for a little get away to bring in the new year. Able to drive back to Cincy and creation museum with easy access to the interstate. Just minutes from shopping and also enjoyed the lights and concert at the Ark Encounter. Our host was very responsive to any needs that came up.

Access to the Ark

It was very convenient being so close to the entrance of the Ark Encounter. Nice yard for the kids to run around and an enjoyable sleeping experience in a classic older home that’s been well kept. We enjoyed our stay here!

Best Country stay in the City

Oh my birds greeted us, a squirrel had coffee with me (I was enjoying the quiet porch sitting), I went in to fix breakfast and a baby deer was in the backyard eating grass, & then our final day there 2 small baby jack rabbits were wishing us well on our trip as they ate grass & frolicked in the morning dew. Best stay ever!

We were traveling from New Hampshire to Florida and wanted our two grandsons to see the Ark. I found the sunset cottage, which was close by and it was perfect for our two night stay. The boys loved the fact that there were games and puzzles and Amy and Charles thought of everything. It was a very comfortable stay.

Nostalgic Charming Cottage

Our stay here was amazing! The home was roomy and comfortable for us visiting the ark encounter. We loved the location and property the house was on. The kitchen was by far my favorite, it made me homesick for my grandma's home with the vintage table and pie safe. Thank you for opening up such a snuggly nook of Kentucky to our family!
