HOUSE RULES

We want every guest to have an incredible experience, so please treat North Star Cabin like your own home. Remove shoes indoors to protect the hardwood floors. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM out of respect for neighboring cabins on the resort. Pets are welcome -- just clean up after them and keep them off furniture. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 11:00 AM. Please start a load of used towels before you leave -- it helps our team prepare quickly for the next guest.

Perfect location, peaceful setting

We traveled from Nebraska to visit Glacier National Park. There were 16 of us:) We found the cabin to be in the perfect location! We were able to make the short drive to Glacier National Park multiple times throughout our stay. We were also able to make the quick drives into both Whitefish and Kalispell. The kids very much enjoyed the yard space as did the adults! The kids had plenty of space to run around. They enjoyed playing multiple rounds of corn hole as one was set up for them at the cabin. The fire pit was a gathering place for us all after our busy days. We also enjoyed our quiet walks around the property! The cabin itself had plenty of space for us all to be comfortable! The cabin was very clean! Plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The grill was a huge bonus as was the washer and dryer! Communication with Brooke was top notch! She was very quick to respond to any and all questions and was so easy to work with! Above and beyond!! Check in and check out was a breeze! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin!!!

Christmas 2022 with Family!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the North Star Cabin! It was a great place to celebrate Christmas with our family, Brooke was very helpful and a great communicator! Rooms were all comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make various meals, we enjoyed the pellet stove and the beautiful scenery! We would definitely come back!!

Impressive

The Northstar Cabin at Haymoon Resort is a winner. Our group of five (5) well-traveled, diverse and accommodation discerning 50 something year-old skiers were very impressed with the cabin's cost-to-value, its quality, simple mountain vibe, structure and amenities. We also considered the drive to the town of Whitefish from the cabin to be short. The owners of the cabin clearly thought of the little details for their guests when designing the cabin's amenities (e.g. the hot water volume for multiple guests was great, the # of Cable TV channels was too and they supplied good kitchen utensils). The Haymoon resort manager was polite and accommodating. We did have to slightly reassemble the Weber bbq to get it to work, and while there were no hot tubs available, nor is the bed-to-bathroom ratio high, we though nothing of it considering the cabin's amenities otherwise. And really, if those sorts of things are a high priority to you then you probably don't belong in Whitefish, MT anyway. I know that each of our guest crew would highly recommend the cabin to anyone and we all hoped that we can come back and stay there next year.

Family Spring break

We had the most wonderful experience at this beautiful property. We met up with our children and grandchildren for 8 nights. The accommodations are perfect for a large group. There were plenty of private ares and a nice common area. If I have any suggestions , it would be to add a love seat to the common area for more comfortable seating. The beds were very comfortable and the locations was perfect for Glacier. We enjoyed watching the deer each morning and our grandson loved the yard and the pond was beautiful. We could not have asked more. Thank you for the amazing memories!!

Plenty of room for everyone

This cabin is surprisingly spacious. The downstairs area was perfect for a kid hangout during the sub zero temps while we were mostly inside. Wish the downstairs TV was in the living room area, otherwise all amenities were excellent. We had three families in this cabin and each family had their own space. Easy to get to, even in winter and close to everything.

Very pleasant 15 acres the cabin sits on. It was nice to be able to run around a yard after being in the car during the day. Good proximity to Whitefish and to GNP. With 3 levels it helped us spread out and all have some space. We would stay here again.

Great cabin for our large group

We were 3 families with teenage kids (11 people) and we had a great time staying at this cabin. First of all, Brooke, our contact with the managing company was awesome. She answered all our questions right away, very, very helpful. The cabin was very clean and you can tell they take pride in keeping it that way. It had everything we needed, and we did not feel overcrowded. The basement was a great area to retreat in case someone needed some quiet time. We spent most of our time in the Glacier NP, which is 30 min drive to the West Entrance (timed). It takes about another 20 min to drive to the Avalanche parking lot, just FYI. The cabin is very close to the Whitefish downtown area (lots of cute stores or restaurants), or shopping places (Costco). We would definitely come back again, and use this company, Highly recommending it.

Tranquility and comfort

We have been having family reunions in NW Montana for years, and this is undoubtedly our best experience as far as lodging. We had five couples and some local guests as well for meals and the house was above and beyond comfortable and spacious. But I think the setting needs as much credit. They have done a great job to provide spaces for group gatherings as well as privacy. We loved it and hope to experience it again.
