Run down house and unclean
House was unclean, run down things not working if not properly not at all ... Bath towels were stained and food was still in the insinkorator not happy at all as paid for a cleaning fee yet got the house dirty Lounge suite had crumbs, both bathrooms were dirty inside fridge not cleaned stove top had fat splatters the coffee table glass tops were smears. Balcony still broken frim 2021 Not happy at all

Was enough space fit for a family had the basics required for a family aswell aircon not as good as wat it should be as it’s in the wrong place and gets quite hot upstairs so a aircon upstairs would be perfect. Due to the size of the house it’s needed. If there was a washing machine would of been perfect otherwise was good house and area was nice aswell.

Perfect
We had a group of 12 people, this property was perfect for us all. I loved the big kitchen and the dining room. It was perfect for us and we all had a seat at the table. :)

Nice property- could have been cleaner
Positives- house as per photos/description. Good location if staying for a police college grad & close to Porirua/Whitby town. Decent heating & water stayed hot for a group of 10 for showers. Nice decor. Negatives - ants in kitchen, fridge had greasy marks/crumbs on shelves like not cleaned at all, had to buy extra toilet paper on first day & no extra bin liners provided in kitchen, bedding in downstairs room had a unpleasant smell.

House of horrors
Firstly we were told when we got to the property that the porch was unavailable as it was not safe for anyone to be on it. Travelling with 2 kids under 12 I would not have booked it had this been bought to our attention when booking. Then add the ant problem which was rife throughout the kitchen, the tvs didn’t work and we had to air drop from our phones, couches held together by electric tape and doors that kept locking us into the bathroom. Also not as advertised. After making payment which was non refundable I found out there was no bbq or washing machine as advertised. Host was no help at all when we raised issues to her. Would not recommend this property at all.

Communication with owners was excellent! Beds were very comfortable! Nice to have enough dining space for our large group. However floors seemed a bit dirty and no cleaning equipment for us to use except for small broom and dustbuster. The stairs to the upper floor had no handrail. Overall our stay was enjoyable and suitable for our needs.

Spacious and convenient.
Enjoyed our short stay to attend a family wedding. Clean and so handy to have linen provided. Also enjoyed a little exploration and the walkways around Pauatahanui - so much interest for a tiny village.
