Welcome! Many of our guests stay with us while attending basic training graduation at Fort Leonard Wood, and we’re honored to host you during such an important milestone.

Wonderful stay in Waynesville

Lovely, comfortable house on the hill. There was plenty of room to relax and we were a short drive to Ft. Leonard Wood. House is beautifully decorated and beds were comfortable

Tiny Honeymoon

My husband and I got married over the holidays and got this place as a little honeymoon and it was so wonderful. There was plenty of space, it was clean, and it was comfortable.

Excellent family stay

Had a wonderful family day with my son graduating from Fort Leonard!! Able to cook a meal in the kitchen and relax, play cards and watch movie. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy spot to relax with family

This is my 3rd time staying at one of Sabines homes in Waynesville. I’ve fallen in love with the area and these houses feel like a home of my own. I would highly recommend either of her properties! They are clean, well stocked, and have the little extra touches that make it special.

This cozy home was perfect and had all the little extras that make it 5 stars. Fully stocked kitchen for family meals, cozy front porch with amazing views, and walking distance to main street Waynesville with shops and restaurants and a beautiful river, sping and walking trail.

We rolled in late to this home and didn’t get to stay long, but everything was very clean and we found it to be exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our time there! Cute home, tastefully decorated, and all around perfect for what we needed!

We needed a place to stay so we could go see my cousin graduate from basic training. It was clean and very neat. Had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our stay! So close to base too.. it was perfect!

Fantastic Find

The interior and amenities were above excellent. Very urban farmhouse with extra thought and detail given. Super coffee and snacks provided. Extremely clean, quiet and close to fun shops and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer and are looking for an excuse to return!

A home away from home

Our weeklong stay was truly a home away from home while we visited my daughter for her graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was wonderful to be able to cook her favorites for her, snuggle on the couch with a movie, and have a relaxed stay with family time. The close location to the base made getting to and from a breeze! The few questions I had as a 1st time Vrbo user were answered super fast.We went antiquing, visited local historical sites, and enjoyed the town. I’d 100% stay here again.

Great Stay Near FLW

We rented this house to stay in while attending our son's Family Day & Basic Training Graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was just a short drive to the base & was a great place to spend the day with our son & have a homecooked meal as a family. The house was clean, had a functional kitchen, & had plenty of space for the 6 of us to spend time together. Highly recommend it for FLW families.

Great house on the Hill

We had an amazing stay at Sabine’s house! Everything was perfect, beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed. Location was super close to FLW, and had a great view of downtown Waynesville. We went for an awesome walk along the river and took a drive to check out graffiti rock! 10/10 recommended

Short and Sweet

My kids and I were only there for a short time for my son's graduation from basic training. It was a prefect place to stay just off of base. Plenty of space to hang out and spend some quality time together as a family. The home has everything we needed to make a nice family dinner.

Relaxing homebase

The house is very comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing stay indoors or just to kick off your shoes for a quick rest. The proximity to restaurants and attractions in the area is excellent. The neighborhood is pretty run down, but we did not have any concerning activity around the house. Walked from the house to nearby eateries and the spring. Would definitely stay again.

Unexpectedly nice!

The house is a little hard to find, but once you get there, and get up the driveway, you will love it. It's nicely furnished with comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen. There is a washer and dryer, both of which work well, good TVs, and a really nice bathroom with very hot water and good water pressure. The porch would be relaxing to lounge on in warm weather, and you can get groceries and restaurant meals right nearby. We really enjoyed the house on the hill!

Great little place!
