the room was spotless and as described. The instructions to check in and out were easy to follow. Our only complaint and it was a big one, was the bed was the hardest my husband and I have ever slept on, and I travel quite frequently It was so bad we ended up sleeping on the floor and the sofa instead. Rock hard made for a disappointing stay

Nice modern efficiency with really great kitchen. String WiFi. Hot water in shower ran out after few minutes, so that was not good. Walkable to a row of restaurants. Grocery stores farther away. About 0.8 miles to metro stop.

Great apartment

Easy access with the check in codes. Great amenities - gym, bbqs etc. our studio felt more like a one bedroom apartment the way it was laid out, it was spacious and the bedroom was separated from the rest of the suite. Well stocked kitchen with equipment, we stayed for 5 days and would definitely stay again and for longer. Easy transport links into DC.

The only downside about this trip was that we were placed right next to the end of the hallway near double doors and we could hear when people would walk in/out because of the door slamming. Besides that, the room was beautiful and very affordable for our stay. Parking was pretty easy, and I enjoyed the thorough instructions we were given. The gym was also beautiful with a nice view. Stores and restaurants were conveniently located.

Couple Stayed the Weekend

The overall trip was amazing. We did get towed in the public parking area. I don't remember there being an option for a parking pass (unsure), but other than that once I got my van back overnight parking is $11.95. Anyway, the room was very clean, they gave me fresh flowers as requested, the bed was much more comfortable than most places I've stayed. Full kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, microwave, toaster and Keurig machine. The view from the penthouse was amazing (which they did not mention in the amenities, be we had access), the theatre room wasn't working properly, I think the inputs are mixed up.The outdoor eating area was nice had a really nice grill out there. There were also hammocks out there. The indoor lounge area was nice had a nice cooking range out there. I did go to the gym there and it has everything I needed including the yoga studio. There were many strip malls near by. We shopped at Amazon Fresh (we had never been so the item scanning carts were a fun experience). We had a great time.

There were some great aspects to the 2bed/2bath apartment that we rented. The location is great in terms of being close to shopping/dining areas (driving distance) in Alexandria as well as providing easy access to DC. Very quiet and safe. There is a parking garage that has affordable parking for around $13/day. The building amenities were good; conference rooms for working, a walkable track on the roof, a gym and a self-serve espresso station. The apartment itself was spacious with 2bed/2bathrooms, a living room and a small kitchen. Laundry in the unit was nice as were large walk in closets for both bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The virtual concierge was convenient. A few things that detracted from our stay…the apartment was not well cleaned and could use a deep clean and paint refresh. There were stains on the window shades and walls, and on the sofa. The tub did not drain well while showering, there was masking tape covering the fire alarm, a switch plate fell off the wall when it was brushed by setting a bag down next to it. The pans in the kitchen are poor quality and difficult to cook with. One of the bathroom doors was difficult to close completely. The living room wasn’t a space where we could sit and fully relax in when at the apartment in the evening. The apartment felt a bit worn overall. In the end, the apartment did the trick and the price was right, but it did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness, condition and atmosphere.

It's more of an apartment than a hotel. The listing on Expedia wasn't 100% accurate. For example there wasn't blackout blinds/curtains or two rooms. The dryer was running and full of sheets when I arrived. The comforter/blanket was like sleeping in a trash bag. I could barely sleep. Plus the walls seem thin and I could hear neighbors all around me. Forget about a view as the room overlooks the entrance to the parking garage.

I had an amazing stay at Kasa in Alexandria! From the moment I checked in, everything felt effortless. The building is clean, modern, and secure, with a welcoming atmosphere. My unit was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring the city. The location is perfect—walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, plus easy access to public transportation. I especially appreciated how quiet the area was at night while still being close to the Old Town area. The self-check-in process was smooth. The amenities, like the fitness center and shared lounge, added to the overall experience.

Outstanding value and facilities

I’ve stayed in many places on DC over the last three decades, but this is in my top three for quality, and first for value. It’s less than half an hours walk from Potomac Yard (which has the best supermarket, don’t use the closer one) and I can’t fault it. Trying really hard to find something wrong, the shower pressure could be better!
