No "Smart TV"
The streaming box for the TV did not work. We contacted the owner, who's husband came with another streaming box which also didn't work. As there was no cable, we effectively had no TV. Also, the apartment was very dusty and all the glass services were streaky. I mentioned this the owner's husband and his response was sorry about that, nobody has stayed here for a while. I also emailed the owner about the TV and dust and her response was, essentially. "we are very lucky that we didn't cancel our booking as they had sold the place and that we should be very grateful we weren't cancelled too"

Great location and place to stay!
Great place to stay while in Vancouver. Short walking distance to Coal Harbour and all the good spots around town. Condo was clean and described accurately as in the listing. Would like to see a more comfortable mattress replaced with current one but aside from that no complaints and would stay here again.

Best Downtown Location
This unit is in the best downtown location within easy walking distance of Stanly Park, the sea wall, Canada Place and a host of restaurants. The unit is comfortable, air conditioned, with a beautiful view of the Lion’s Gate Bridge.

In terms of location, the property is placed in the best spot at the heart of downtown very close to shops and public transport. It was clean and tidy but the only thing I didn’t like was poor inhalation as there was no balcony and only small windows that could be opened. Although there was a fan and an internal air con, fresh air was needed to flow to lessen the mugginess indoors. Great view from the bedroom, but if you are a light sleeper the noise from the street might wake you up couple of times. Overall, my stay was fine but please be mindful that if your ticket is changed by your airline and you have to unexpectedly do an early check in, no refund will be granted. I had to change my itinerary because of a flight cancellation beyond my control (which was already frustrating), but I did not receive even a portion of the money I paid for the 2 nights that I didn’t use (which was quite surprising and annoying). Would be good if there is more flexibility in hosting policies and more understanding towards guests in the future! :)

The location was perfect. Close to everything. The host, Sylvia was wonderful. She replied to my e mails almost immediately and was always available. The condo was clean, well stocked and had fantastic views. Easy and convenient check in and out. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great, note that no air con in most buildings
The stay was great. Nice apartment, clean and I liked the decor. While it was generally well stocked, it could’ve used wine glasses and a cutting board and more towels, and a couple more trash bins to sort out the very difficult self-sorting garbage system in Vancouver. Most building don’t have air conditioning. The living room unit with the hose into the window did what it could, but it was noisy and still hot during shoulder season, then cooled a little as the weather changed. This is a problem will most buildings, not unique to this one. I would stay here again but probably use a hotel in the heat of summer. Also note this listing is not flexible with any changes once made.

Super apartment in downtown Vancouver
Sylvia’s apartment was the ideal base for our two week holiday. It had all the amenities we required, was spotlessly clean and was the perfect home from home. The apartment was ideally situated to visit many of Vancouver’s attractions, the city’s shops and sky train stations. I would highly recommend this apartment to short or long term travellers.
