Cactus Cove is a very well presented and comfortable property situated in an outstanding, peaceful location.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and the garden/grounds including pool area are immaculately maintained.
Sally, the owner, is a wonderful hostess who provides delicious breakfasts, normally with a theme, which are varied and elegantly presented.
Our party was two couples who stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, Thank you Sally.
My friend and I spent one night at Cactus Cove and it was beautiful serene place to stay! Our room had all the amenities we could ask for and the pool area was amazing. Our host Sally warmly welcomed us and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying here and plan to go back again in the future.
Sally, the properties owner is a dlightful woman! And her property is simply amazing! A million dollar view for sure. Breakfasts were lovely, as was the afternoon snack.
Everything exceeded our expectations, and we definitely will return. A very spcial place.
My wife and I went to Tucson for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary. We chose Cactus Cove as it looked like a beautiful, quiet place to spend a few days. Sally greatly exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and very quiet. The view of the mountains is exceptional. Even though it is still in the city, it feels very secluded. The suite was beautifully furnished and quite spacious. Our room had a private courtyard with an outdoor shower! On top of all that, Sally was delightful! She is an excellent conversationalist and I enjoyed the time we spent with her. Breakfast was excellent. Perhaps one of the best huevos rancheros I’ve had. This was an excellent experience. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Tucson.
What a wonderful exclusive B&B. Sally treated us like a king and queen. Our room included a big sitting area, excellent decore, a big two person shower, separate jetted tub, and private walled patio, and an outdoor shower. Breakfast included homemade croissant rolls, and a personal botanical garden tour afterwards.
We didn't brave the unheated pool, though the pool area was surrounded by desert plants, including blooming cactus and orange blossoms. Unfortunately, we had to cut out trip short, but Sally without hesitation gave us a refund for circumstances beyond our control. We shall return!!!
Comfortable stay with delicious breakfasts. Sally greets you at check in with an afternoon snack, gives you a tour, and shows you everything about your room and the common spaces. The property is gorgeously nestled in the desert with a spacious patio/ pool area and stunning views. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Location was a great launch point for visits to Mount Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East, and Sabino Canyon. There’s an afternoon snack awaiting you in your room each day and a nice breakfast each morning with Sally and the other guests (there are only 3 rooms so it’s a nice small group). If you’re looking for an impersonal, corporate hotel experience, this is likely not for you, but if you’re open to meeting a lovely, interesting person and staying at a delightful property, Cactus Cove is a gem. One small note: In the room we stayed (Ocotillo room), the inside shower is the French style handheld associated with the jacuzzi tub (would be challenging if you are mobility-limited) and the American style stand up shower is outside in your private courtyard. We used the outside shower on a particularly chilly morning and it was still comfortable because we let the water warm up first. We travel a lot internationally so these quirky features were comfortable for us, but may be a bit surprising for travelers accustomed to corporate hotels in the US. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future.
Our stay at Catus Cove was wonderful! Sally was a great host! It is a nice place for couples to spend quality time together. Thank you, Sally! James & Anastasia
What a wonderful surprise it was to arrive at Cactus Cove! Just outside Tucson, it is an extremely scenic, beautifully decorated home with only 4 lovely units. Great privacy, peace, with mountain and desert views. The owner, a generous, accommodating, interesting woman, treats guests like family, making sure they have everything they need. The breakfasts, each day with an international flair, were delicious!
Cactus Cove is such a special and memorable place with a lot of character. The woman who runs the B&B, Sally is talented, thoughtful and sweet. The view from the back of the house of the mountains and gardens is stunning. The breakfasts were delicious! We loved the jacuzzi tub in our room and the L'Occitane bath products. What a magical place. If we return to Tucson, we'd like to stay at Cactus Cove again.
Clean rooms, outdoor shower, huge jacuzzi tub. Wonderful shared outdoor space as well. Would be a wonderful place to go with family and rent out all three rooms.
Our first time at a Bed and Breakfast couldn't have been better. Sally is a wonderful host. The property is beautiful and peaceful with wonderfully comfortable rooms. Can't wait to go back!
Like visiting family in a heavenly venue. Sally, the owner/host, is the embodiment of peace, joy and friendship the entire B&B reflects. Even our fellow guests were delightful. Sally and her assistant Esther prepared wonderful breakfasts each day presented on unique, and elegant place settings daily. Sally’s botanical garden is grand. Tucson has no better ambassador. My wife and I love her. ❤️
Had a wonderful time staying at Cactus Cove. Beautiful property and the attention to detail was a amazing! We will be back for more rest, relaxation and hiking in a beautiful area
This is staying in someone's home, this is not seperate lodging. The rooms are lovely, but you must be willing to give up some personal privacy, and succumb to the owners demand to get to know you, and tell you about herself. If you are willing to abide by some "house rules" this place is perfect, otherwise you may want to look elsewhere.
This is my second stay at Cactus Cove. The first was for business and the second was a combo of business and pleasure. It is an exceptional location and the whole experience is amazing.
