Overall, our stay was simply okay. It was nice having luggage storage available when we arrived, but a check-in time of 4pm is rather late. The staff was friendly though. I think this hotel has great potential in being more welcoming to foreign visitors.
Check-in: smooth. It was with a machine, which was efficient but kind of lost the friendly homey vibe compared to if we were checked in by an actual person.
Amenities: great. There was a kettle and stove, fridge, washing machine and dryer, and a large light in the bedroom in which you could dim.
Space: a bit cramped. No where to really put your luggage (I stayed in a twin room (2 people) with separate beds).
My overall complaint about this hotel: I was confused a lot using their technology. For example, when we first tried to enter our room, we spent a while outside trying to get the pin pad to work. We were given written instructions, but visual instructions would have been more helpful. It also took forever to turn on the main light in our room. It turned out to be controlled by a remote control which we thought controlled the AC. What we thought was the thermostat actually controlled the water temperature of the shower and sink. If there were English instructions readily available next to each gadget, plus the laundry machine, I believe more people visiting from out of the country would feel more welcome. I would consider coming here again if these changes were made, considering the price and convenient location.
