About this property

Charming Tree House with a Hot Tub in Chattahoochee National Forest, Georgia

  • This treehouse has a modern design and is nestled on a hillside near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals (mostly cats and dogs!) live and a family reside in the main cabin.

Again, please note, there are animals on the property.

This private treehouse with a view of the creek is located past where you park at the main cabin and is a short walk back into the forest. The full bathroom with running water and the wifi can be found only at the main cabin. The rear of the property provides accesses to the national forest for hiking in a serene and rarely used portion of the mountains.

    -About Glamping-

Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour! It's like regular camping, but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains.

    --------------------

    Are You a Glamper?

This treehouse is a glamping experience! Here’s what you can expect:

A comfy bed, k cup coffee brewer, microwave, outdoor cook space, heated mattress pad, radiator heater, a dresser, bed, chairs, and electricity.

You should avoid glamping experiences if you…

    1. Do not enjoy temps outside of the range you would keep for your home.

    2. Do not like the idea of walking back into the forest down a short trail to get to the treehouse.

    3. Do not want to walk to the main cabin to use the wifi, the flushing toilet, and/or take a shower.

    4. If the idea that the treehouse is not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in -although we do try and keep them out- upsets you.

If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in one of our treehouses.

    --------------------

The treehouse features an outdoor cook space so you have a place to prepare your favorite camp style meals while still enjoying the seclusion of the forest. In addition to the cook space, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to cook. Please note: you will need to bring your own drinking water and cooking utensils!

    The treehouse is equipped with:

    microwave

    K-cup coffee pot

    refrigerator

    - We do not provide water or cooking utensils. You will want to bring those yourself.

    - There is a camp toilet for quick night runs.

    - The showering facilities, wifi, and gravel parking area are at the main cabin. The treehouse is back past the main cabin a short walk into the forest.

    - There are animals on the property. There are free-roaming cats and dogs at the main cabin.

    - Service is unreliable in the mountains. Wifi is at the main cabin only. There is no service nor wifi at the treehouse.

    - There is no running water in the treehouse.

    - Please do not reach over or through any fences to touch the animals. Please do not feed any animals. Thank you!

    --------------------

-Please note that this is a starter kit only. If you anticipate needing additional supplies during your stay, we recommend bringing them with you or purchasing them locally.

-We do provide an ample supply of:

    Dish soap and dish detergent

    Shampoo and conditioner

    Hand soap

    LINEN & TOWELS:

-If you need extra towels during your stay, just let us know and we’ll do our best to arrange them based on availability.

HOT TUB: A high standard of cleanliness is extremely important to us, so our team follows strict guidelines and drains, cleans, and refills the hot tub between every guest. Because of this, the hot tub may still be heating when you arrive.

**We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we work to conserve resources while maintaining a comfortable stay for every guest.**

-We typically provide basic spices such as salt and pepper. If you have specific preferences, we recommend bringing your own.

Please note we can only communicate with the listed number associated with the booking for the safety and privacy of all of our guests. You are welcome to forward and information you receive to whoever you like but we cannot send any details about guest reservations to unattached contacts. We recommend planning in advance to be in service or have access to wifi while waiting to receive the door code as there can be large areas without cell service in Suches and the surrounding areas.
