Spring Break 2025

Everything was great. The property was clean, and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We tend to go to different places each year, but if we go back for an extended stay, we will certainly look at staying there again if it is available.

As close to the beach as you can get! Very clean. Convenient to everything on St. Simons.

Pleasant Stay, Great Property Manager

We were pleased with North Breakers. It is beach front, but it is a hike to the beach because a hurricane a few years ago deposited a massive amount of sand (so East Beach is much larger than it used to be). That isn't anyone's fault.The amenities were nice - all fairly new appliances. The unit was recently renovated and nicely decorated. The property manager was EXTREMELY good at communicating. Probably the best I've experienced. He was friendly, helpful, and responded very quickly. The dishwasher (we think) was leaking towards the end of the week. It wasn't that big of a deal to us since we were mostly using paper plates and such. We just washed the few dishes we used by hand. But the manager coordinated with us to fix it as soon as we left - and kindly gave us a small refund for the inconvenience. We certainly didn't expect that, but it shows how attentive he was to our needs.We will most definitely be back, and thank him for a pleasant stay.

The location rocks, friendly owner!

Walk downstairs and you’re at the beach. This is a well priced unit and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was friendly and always quick to respond to all of my questions.

Weekend Getaway

Saint Simons never fails! This was my first time staying at this wonderful location, the condo was extremely clean, very well decorated, and had great access to the pool with just a short walk to the beach. I will be back and would highly recommend this host. All the little things you need were available.

Beach Access + Pool + GREAT place

Our family was so surprised by this quiet rental. We came in April as spring had sprung and we weren’t disappointed. Response time from the owner was RAPID for any needs (even before we got there all our questions were answered quicker than expected) and the amenities were spot on. Would stay again!

The property was clean and well maintained. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The living room furniture not quite as comfortable but serviceable. End of summer getaway

Loved loved loved our time spent here!! The accommodations were everything the listing stated and more. Charles was very helpful and responded in a timely manner with all my questions. The rental was well appointed with everything you would need for a vacation away from home. The pool area was well kept and refreshing at the end of the day at the beach. The walk to the beach was not far and the “wagon” available to use for transporting all beach paraphernalia was a god send. Thankful for our time spent at this wonderful home away from home!

A comfortable and well located apartment

The location of this apartment is excellent for a relaxing beach vacation. It is comfortable and clean. The owner is very responsive and reliable. The only improvement we would recommend is that he provide a new set of skillets and pots. The current collection does not inspire serious cooking.

Beautiful setting

The unit itself was very nice and very clean. The owner was very responsive and he directions sent were easy to dollow. The view from the balcony was of the adjacent property rather than looking out onto the beach. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub area was under renovation so we did not have use of them. The grills had also been removed due to the construction. We were told we could use the hot tub and grills at the neighboring property, however, we could never find anyone in their office to verify or ask questions. We enjoyed the island and the location of the unit was quiet and on a dead end road so traffic was at a minimum. I would recommend to anyone staying here to either plan on bringing household items (trash bags, foil, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc.) or make plans to purchase as these items were not in the unit or limited in supply. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property for a nice vacation.

Fantastic condo for a family vacation!

This was our first time at St. Simon's Island. We booked this unit based on the pictures and description. All of it is accurate! The location is perfect - right on the beach - just leave the condo, walk past the pool/hot tub and on to the private beach boardwalk! The unit was very clean and smelled fresh. All appliances were full size and in working order (we made good use of the laundry machines!) as wellas the oven / stove / microwave. Great water pressure, AC was great, plenty of storage for your "stuff". Loved the large kitchen table. Check-in directions from our host were spot-on - and were easy to reference. We had to reach out to the Host for one item/question. They returned our phone call with in 10 minutes and resolved our question. We loved the unit and had a great time. We are already planning another trip and (honestly), will schedule it around this units availability. Thank you Charlie!

Beach awesome, property had drawbacks

The property owner reached out to me to make sure we got into the condo okay and to see if we had any issues, which was very nice. He asked if the condo was clean. This property wasn’t the cleanest that we’ve stayed in in all of our travels. This was our 3rd visit to St. Simons. This condo needs a lot of updating. Something that we would suggest would be with minimal cost: to replace the old, flat pillows and the age-old utensils that looked like they were from the 70’s. We purchased a watermelon from the grocery store to enjoy, but there wasn’t a decent knife or anything at all to store the watermelon in, like containers or even any type of wrap, neither Saran Wrap or tinfoil, so we ended up taking the watermelon home with us after 4 days. It would not cost very much to get a matching set of dishware, instead of it looking like it’s all mismatched and came from yard sales or from the owner’s past usage 30-40 years ago. The paper towels and toilet paper were cheap quality and very thin. The bath towels were scratchy and all mismatched as well. A huge problem was the back sliding glass door that was broken. The owner did know (when I spoke with him) that the door was broken and you couldn’t latch or lock the door. I just don’t see that you could rent out a property with this kind of major issue, not being able to lock an outer door. A positive is the mattress was very comfortable and we had 4 nights of good sleep. There was a short walk to the beach and the beach, as before, was simply awesome, super nice, clean and uncrowded. As far as the property, It wouldn’t take much to make a much better impression.
