The room was great - this was really an apartment with a kitchen (refrigerator and stove) and living room, bedroom and bathroom. We had the lower floor suite, and it had an enormous patio with views of Naples, the bay, Mt. Vesuvius, and the boats and ships coming and going. My girlfriend and I loved this, and we sat out every morning for breakfast and every evening to watch the water as the sun set and the night lights came out. It's a long steep walk to the top of the hill - pretty dangerous narrow road with fast moving taxis and deliver vehicles, but with care you can navigate this well. The taxi service in Sorrento is very minimal (no Uber in Sorrento at this time, either), so be prepared to WALK to the top of the hill where this wonderful suite will embrace you with its views and simple but elegant comfort. We are in our 60's but are in good shape and enjoyed the exercise on the way home at night. I have traveled the world, and this was one of the best places that I have ever stayed. Beats the heck out of a hotel, if you are comfortable preparing your own food on occasion and pouring your own wine as you enjoy this romantic abode near the top of Sorrento. We bought fruit and cheese and bread and wine and lived well, including a jet lagged 5 am breakfast watching the sun come up on the deck in our PJ's with prosecco and cheese on our first day, then back to bed until 10 am...Fantastic!
