THINGS TO KNOW Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant breeze. Your beachside locale is half a block from the Amtrak rails, and passing trains may occasionally be heard. This studio is part of an older historical building with multiple units, so guests may hear noises from adjacent units. Several other units are available in the same property for rent to accommodate a group. Inquire if you need to sleep more than four people. The home is located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront properties share this feature) and the 101 freeway. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, we recommend using the earplugs provided in each unit. While the noise doesn't bother most guests, we like to be transparent so there are no surprises.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 2.
Security camera details: In the parking lot, front door, and back deck
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Amazing place!
This spot was perfectly located. The building itself was beautiful and on a beautiful street. Although there are some sounds (like the train) I would say only great things about this place.
My husband and I appreciated our stay here for four nights to attend a nearby family wedding. Although the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. The best part: we felt very safe in the area and it was super close to the beach!

Beautiful little room!
I just loved this location and the beautiful room, unable to control the temperature of the room but the fan helped and it was never too cold or too hot.

Small quiet room so close to beach and other fun activities. This room is exactly what we needed. Loved the full size coffee maker in the room.
This studio is a perfect place for a couple to stay if you want to spend time at the beach or walk to restaurants and other nearby sights. The room was clean and comfortable. You can hear the train, but the horn is brief when it passes. The studio suited our needs perfectly.

Best bang for your buck
This was the cutest most affordable stay I’ve done in a long time. Literally walking distance to a very cute open air grocery store and the beach! Virtually no hassle what so ever from booking the room to checking out, very easy.
The room itself felt homey and cozy. We spent very little time in the room but it was perfect for what we needed. Towels were clean, the bathroom was tidy and it felt like home for the short time we were there. I will be coming back.
Cute little room near the highway and the beach. Safety concerns with no inside the room lock and curled carpet corner is a trip hazard near the door and bathroom walkway. Also very smelly soaps and diffuser in the room. Bought my own unscented soap
It was smaller than I thought, but was perfect for just me. It’s located very close to the beach and downtown pier and shops. The freeway traffic and train horn was not a big deal. I didn’t hear the freeway and only heard the train blow it’s horn a few times ( it was loud), but nothing after 10pm.
When we arrived the door key pad was dead. We had to wait for a locksmith to enter the property. Then the basement flooded knocking out the hot water heater so we didn’t have hot water to shower etc.

Nice but not worth the price
We had a nice stay, the decor was cute, and it was clean. It was nice to be so close to the beach and downtown area. Some things to note: the bed is a full size (not queen as advertised), the thin walls bothered me more than I expected, there is not a hair dryer, and the TV remote only worked for the power and volume so we couldn't change the channels. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but didn't think it was worth the price once all the fees were added.

Very nice but…
The room was homey, light and airy., the location was perfectly within walking distance or <10 minute drive to cute eats and shops, but there were too many numbers to memorize to access the room and there was no maid service for our 3 day trip. Overall, 4.5/5 stars.
