Cherokee Rose Suite at Wildflower Lodge

Welcome to Wildflower Lodge, where Texas tradition and southern style converge. We are delighted to offer you a unique and memorable experience in our six individual suites, each inspired by the vibrant beauty of Texas wildflowers.

Whether you are passing through for a brief stopover, visiting for a hunting excursion, celebrating a wedding, or working on the pipeline, we have the perfect space to accommodate your needs. At Wildflower Lodge, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional hospitality and treating our guests like family.

Our cozy 150 sq. ft. suite is thoughtfully designed to ensure your comfort. It features a comfortable queen bed, Wi-Fi access for staying connected, a TV for entertainment, a hairdryer for your convenience, and a coffee pot to help you kick start your day. With a private entrance, you can enjoy privacy and easy access to your room. Additionally, you have the opportunity to unwind and relax in our outdoor seating area, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

We want to emphasize that this particular suite is smaller in size (150sqft) and shares a wall with another room. While it may not provide extensive space, it is well-suited for a one-night stay or a cozy two-night retreat. Inadequate bathroom. Broken toilet seat and poor bill Ayer flow. Had to ask for coat hangers. Wine glasses in the first room we saw but not our more expensive one. Beds were okay.

Cozy & comfortable
The room is exactly the size that its listed as, so there should be no surprise when you walk in. It's a clean and quiet space to stay. The shower was the best part! It was spacious, warm and had great water pressure. We will be staying again for Christmas.

Rooms were not clean at all. Old things were left under beds. Bandaids in shower floor. Top blankets were not cleaned. Sinks were backed up and not draining . The owner did get a plumber out to fix the issue. Very sweet lady but romms are very dirty

The room was absolutely tiny. Ot was listed as a cottage but was really more of an old motel. We found a piece of broken blinds in our bed. The hot water only lasted 2 minutes. Construction on the property started at 7 am. There were no amenities available. This was highly over priced for being an old run down motel

Heart of Texas
This is an optimistically titled property on the Main Street in San Saba, TX. It is a fairly typical small-town motel property and the rooms are all within fifty yards of the traffic on the main road through town. Frankly, there is not much competition in San Saba. Clean and decent motel, not really a destination. The town itself is a small town in a ranching/pecan growing region with a nice municipal park and historical museum, and a few restaurants. Nice rolling Hill Country region. San Saba is convenient for hiking in the Colorado Bend State Park, and way out of the traffic of the cities. Best Pecan Pie I ever had at Oliver & Company. The County Historical Museum in the municipal park is worth a visit. All in, it was about what I expected and it is a low cost weekend opportunity away from Austin or Fort Hood. Hiking/fishing in CBSP is the main touristic draw.

Thumbs up for Wildflower Cottages
Room gave a cozy and inviting feeling, decorated wonderfully and very comfortable. The location made it easy and quick to get to destination. I will book again at Wildflower if I ever return to San Saba.

Not the most comfortable place
The place is very small with not a lot of room to move around. The one review posted said they had a microwave and mini-fridge. Our room had neither and I had to discard prepared food I had brought to heat up. Bed was rather lumpy and squeaky. There was a 12 cup coffeemaker but 2 packets of 1 cup only pods. Coffemaker was dirty, I had to wash it. It is on the main road so traffic can be heard all night. About the only good thing I can say is that it is conveniently located in downtown San Saba.
