Great Value for the City!

We stayed one night here since we needed to be close to the airport for our ladt night.Centrally located and short walk to China Town and Fishermans Wharf. Cool artwork in the room plus the overall accommodation definitely give a NYC vibe - definitely recommend!

Perfect location, clean and well maintained. Love the connection to Harlan Records only downside, keys worked intermittently and only with one phone…and that was a little stressful.

Hidden gem in the middle of everything!

Nice little spot for a work related trip

This is a boutique hotel in an old building and I enjoyed my two week stay. Not all rooms have a refrigerator, so make sure you confirm. The help I received during my stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Taking strolls in Chinatown after work was a nice wind-down from the day, as well as the nearby restaurants (check out Leleka, Today Food, Nomu & the ice cream shop around the corner). If old buildings aren’t your thing, find something corporate.

Great Location, great management

This place was perfect for a couple visiting the city. You’re in a safe part of SF and surrounded by the trolley, cafes, bars, anything you want. Management was super responsive and helped us with everything we asked about

There’s no A/C. Some of the rooms have in-room showers, but some do not. There bed was super old and very thin. It’s neat and historic, but not somewhere I would return to.

Basic hotel, no issues

Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There were a few bugs (nothing crazy) and the walls were very thin, but the room was basically clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and I got to check in early at no extra charge. The price is great though: would recommend for the mid-picky traveler who wants to avoid the SF hostels.

It’s in a fantastic location and was easy to get everywhere from there. Chinatown was basically just outside our door and Union Square a 5 minute walk. We walked to pier 39 in about 25 minutes and to the cable car turn around in about 15 minutes. Literally everything was so conveniently close. It’s no 5 star but definitely a 3 star and we enjoyed our stay. Crazy old cage elevator if you can’t do stairs and the stairway is narrow and steep with a hairpin turn at the top. We truly enjoyed our stay there. We are not fussy people who need all the conveniences of a 5 star hotel either.
