Wonderful family vacation on the beach
The property has the best location ever, the views of the sunrise from the bed rooms are incredible. It felt like we were on a cruise ship, so close were we to the waves. Perfect to relax and play on the beach with the kids. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

Oceanfront getaway
Very easy and smooth communication and check in. Very nice and helpful hosts. Give good tips on the area. The beach was so quiet and peaceful. It was nice to wake up and see the sunrise early in the morning, right from our bed.

This ocean front home was great for our stay. My son graduated from parris island we have a large family it fit 14 of us just fine. We enjoyed sitting on the decks and watching the ocean seeing the dolphins and walking the beach!! It was great!

Great location for a relaxing vacation.
The house was in a great location! We mainly went to relax and do a little surf fishing right behind the house. The house is perfect- it was very clean and comfortable. The fishing behind the house was really active for early September. The owners were very nice and made us feel like we were welcome to be in the house. I would definitely recommend to add the golf cart to your stay- it's nice to ride around the neighborhood and to the small store on the island. will be returning for another stay hopefully.

Great Family Vacation
This house location was is one of the best on this shore line with ease of access to the beach. We had great views. Enjoyed seeing fish jumping, turtles being born, and dolphins swimming on our beach walks. The location provides many comforts of safety. We stayed there in late July and the waves were never higher than my knee and the pull of the current was good for our family with 4 kids under 10. We had great communication with our host. We used the elevator and the golf cart. Both were nice to have access to. The elevator was a great blessing for my father in law. Thank you! I liked some other simple things like pump hand soap ready at each sink. The hot and cold shower available outside was nice. Outdoor beach toy availability was very nice. The numerous indoor ceiling fans are nice along with the covered decking is very nice. The leaf available for the main dining room table was a great benefit to us. We enjoyed fishing right in front of the house and caught something each night. The house was great for my family’s needs. We had a 13, 9, 8, 7 and 8 month old. The streets were safe for bike rides. The house met all my expectations and I was very happy with our vacation.

Horrible Experience
This place is falling apart and is disgusting. The owners should not be renting this out in its current condition, especially because they do not keep up with minor and major maintenance in the house. The pictures are deceptive. When we rented this for a week, I expected the furniture and furnishings to be older, and I didn’t mind that. We entered a house of horrors, including spiders and spider webs all over the inside and outside of the house, green slime nestled under the glass shelves in the fridge, crusty dust covered baseboards and in most corners, spider egg sacs on the ceiling of the porches, all kinds of bugs at the front entryway and beetles, wasps, pinch bugs, you name it, in and out of the house. The housekeeping did surface cleaning, which was fine - no issues there — but it’s clear deep cleaning hasn’t happened for a long time, including hair wrapped around the drain spout and very dusty shelves and other areas. Then the ac went out when we were there. Debbie was very attentive and called an ac company that night. The next day they fixed the issue we thought, but by the following day the ac stopped working again and the second technician came out to tell us that the ducts were completely disintegrated. The ac went up to 90 degrees upstairs, so we all had to cram downstairs. When the technician took out the air filters from the dust covered returns, the filter was so old and covered in dust, you couldn’t see the lines in it anymore. We want a refund.

Our entire group - adults and kids - loved this house. You can't get any closer to the water, and the beach is not crowded at all. We will very likely choose to stay at this property again.

Beach front getaway!
We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is right on the beach. We were there during king tides so the tides were much more dramatic and it felt like we were in a boat sometimes because the tide came right up to the sand dunes! You can’t beat the view! We saw dolphins everyday and the beach walks are beautiful. The house had everything we needed and more. The owners do live here in the off season I believe so there are many personal items on the upstairs floor, but that didn’t really bother us too much. We had a fantastic stay and the owner was a great communicator and got back to us as soon as possible when we had any questions!

Perfect Vacation
Words can not express how much we enjoyed our vacation. Would recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy a low key relaxing place. The house had everything we needed and then some. The view from both floors was amazing, we watched dolphins everyday. There were 12 of us and we had plenty of room for eating and playing games. We prepared dinner almost every night and the kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. We did venture into Beaufort, which is a cute and quaint little town. As for property management, they were amazing. I spoke with Debbie a few times, not for any issues, she was so kind and very helpful. Thank you Hoffman’s for sharing your home! We are very grateful for the much needed time together as a family.
