The apartment is on a quiet and residential street in the Prati area, within walking distance from the S. Peter Basilica and Vatican Museums. Few bus stops from Spagna steps and Navona. Short walk to the new and impressive MAXXI museum by Zaha Hadid and the Renzo Piano’s Music Hall.

The apartment is located on the mezzanine of a turn-of the-century building. Elegant and residential, to live in Rome as the Romans Do. Quite in the night.
The main door introduce you to a bright, design living room with view on a garden (garden pertains to another property). Cool shades on the walls, impressive design and branded furniture. This apartment is for people who like tasteful furnishings and elegant atmosphere.

Prati suburb: If you want to be near the sites and to experience an interesting and pleasant area of Rome without the crowds, this is the place! Romans love this central neighborhood. Prati is conveniently located, near the Tiber so the stroll to the Spanish Steps or Piazza Navona is in the 20 minute range along fascinating streets. Some of the best shopping in Rome is in this neighborhood: from small designer boutiques, good gourmet food shops and open air bargain stands, to a nice department store and a huge farmer’s market for fresh foods.

Perfect home base for Rome

Giovanna was an excellent and easily reached host for this beautiful and quiet flat 15min walk from the Ottaviano metro stop and the Vatican. A little slice of peace for our family during an otherwise bustling visit to Rome. Highly recommend for families.

Great location! Great host!

This apartment is in a great location. Close to the Vatican and the Metro. Giovanna is a wonderful and accommodating host. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable apartment in a charming neighborhood

We loved our stay at this great apartment. Everything was just as described, and Giovanna was an excellent host. We enjoyed many of the restaurants in the neighborhood, especially the Versatile cafe across street. We also appreciated the proximity to the bus stop and the fact that we were within walking distance of the Vatican. Highly recommend!

Amazing Vatican Stay!

Giovanna was great, really responsive to all our questions. Super nice quiet residential neighborhood. Cafe and grocery at the corner. All bedrooms closed off completely with well insulated doors for our late sleepers. 5 people stayed and we'd all love to stay there again.

Perfect location near local transportation

This property is located ten minute walk to vatican or short bus ride. 5 min walk to the subway that gets you to most major attractions of Rome. The host set up our pickup from the airport and met us at the check-in. Would definitely book this apartment again.

Great vacation in Rome

Stylish apartment close to the Vatican. Apartment offers all amenities required for a comfortable family stay. Prati area provides various shops and restaurants and offers the opportunity to explore several of Rome’s main attractions within walking distance. We will definitely come back !

The host was very good. She was easy to contact and responsive to requests when needed. The apartment itself is good and central but looks better in the posting images than in reality. Restaurant recommendations were really helpful and good go to suggestions.

A Home Away from Home

Our stay at this property was fantastic! Giovanna is an excellent and caring host! Her warm welcome and kindness were key features for us. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and provides everything you might need. There is a nice supermarket nearby, as well as several restaurants. The walk to the Vatican is pleasant and very convenient. The apartment offers all the amenities you need for a wonderful and relaxing stay. We hope to return soon and will undoubtedly stay at Giovanna's place again! Thank you for contributing to an unforgettable experience!

Home away from home.

The apartment was exactly what we expecting from the pictures posted. Air conditioning was definitely an asset as Rome was in the middle of +30’s for our entire stay. Grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and pizzerias abound on every corner. Bus and train just around the corner. Walking distance to tourist attractions as well. Giovanna our host was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay easier. Highly recommend!!

This apartment was very clean, comfortable beds and a nice area, however it’s incredibly impractical with a shower that is like an ice rink with low water power, the steps in unexpected places were as dangerous as the shower especially for children and older people. Black floors, walls and dull lighting felt a little like living in a cave. Everywhere needs an update I’m afraid. Having the photo of the garden in the advertisement is misleading as it is owned by a neighbour so you can’t use it. I could list far more annoying things about this apartment but this review would be never ending. If you are looking for luxury I’m afraid you won’t find it here, the apartment certainly didn’t match the price we paid.

The beds were very uncomfortable, and the parking was terrible. I was told that there was parking outside of the building and although that was true it was never available. I would not recommend this place to stay.

Giovanna was a very responsive host. My real disappointment was that the beautiful garden/patio seem on the web site is not accessible for her apartment. Be sure to see Paola and Step at the Versatile coffee shop across the street! They are so much fun!! And the baked goods are fresh every day!

A lovely host, very responsive and helpful. The apartment is in a great location, easy access to public transportation. We had basics we needed (but no coffee machine which was surprising for Italy). The bedrooms looked a bit different from the photos in terms of the furniture and were a bit dark, and the carpet on the floor gives me that extra dark feel but overall, we enjoyed our stay (we really only came on to sleep as we were out all day).

Pleasant experience.

Comfortable apartment. Very efficient A/C is a big plus. Living room, if used as sleeping space, is very comfortable. Very quiet for Rome. Close to bus stops and supermarket.

A Nice Place to Stay

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and was very attentive to our needs. It’s a bit off the beaten path, which is both good and bad, but there is a supermarket and some good places to eat in easy walking distance. The subway was a bit of a walk and we needed to use Ubers (linked to ITTaxi) to get around because of the heat, but the apartment was a great place to come back to and call “home” while we were in Rome.

Modern apartment in great location!

This apartment was an excellent find for our trip to Rome this spring. Situated close to metro and delicious dining options, it is a nicely updated ground-floor two bedroom with all the amenities and conveniences you’d expect. The neighborhood is quiet and un-touristy, so there’s a fair bit of quiet at night. We felt safe getting to and from the apartment from transit and dinner, and with the modern windows we hardly heard a thing of the outside world. Our host was Giovanna and she was kind and helpful at check in, and walked us through some of the best restaurants and areas to explore around the apartment. Would gladly come back next time we’re in Rome!
