This house was perfectly situated near everything we wanted to do while in the North Cascade Mountains. The property was gorgeous and the farm was fun to see.
We loved this farm house and surrounding property. Convenient to North Cascades and nearby town. Beautiful and peaceful. Chatting with the cattle was a bonus!
Quiet farm house, well appointed with outdoor hotub
Farmstay had a lot to offer with grazing cattle just outside the door and a Hottub and fire pit! This secluded farmhouse was easily accessible to North Cascade National Park and surrounding national forest. Easily accommodated two couple and would work for a family as well.
This was a great home and close to Cascades National Park. Nice, clean and quiet. The cows were fun to watch. We got to witness a calf being born! The hot tub was geat after a long day hiking! Definitely recommend.
My family loved staying at this property. We fed cattle and even meet a baby calf! We played frisbee on the spectacular lawn, enjoyed the sunsets from the hot tub, and thought the entire stay was spectacular. I'd recommend this to anyone.
We loved the property, very charming home away from home. The hot tub was amazing after hiking all day, it was a great location for exploring the south side of Mt Baker and west side of North Cascades. It was relaxing to stay in to cook breakfast, walk around the flower and veg gardens and offer carrots to the highland cattle. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again!
Spent the weekend with friends hiking and exploring North Cascades National Park. Our stay was wonderful and all we hoped it to be. The property was very clean, cozy, and supplied everything we needed. The guide book provided for our stay was very organized and had helpful information in case we had any questions. The hot tub, fireplace, and friendly backyard cows were some of our highlights! We would recommend this property to anyone and we hope to stay again soon,
We absolutely loved everything about this property! If you are looking for a quiet but beautiful space to spend the weekend, this property is perfect! They have thought about every detail- from the hot tub, to the blankets, fully stocked kitchen to the outdoor furniture with an incredible view of the mountains. Cannot recommend this cute and updated farmhouse enough!!!
We had great communication from the time we booked. A really clear guide so we knew what to expect. We loved the hot tub, and we really liked watching the adorable cows while we soaked. The views of the mountains are majestic and beautiful. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was everything we wanted. We tried the local pizza place that was recommended and it was delicious and adorable. Everything we lovely.
We loved our stay here! Everything was immaculate and it brought a sense of nostalgia seeing all of the decor of old farmhouse tools and kitchen items. Being in close proximity to the cattle was such a treat! Super family friendly with loads of games and books to use. We stayed here in order to enjoy some time in Cascades and we plan on returning! Even the kids are asking to go back!
House was perfect for visiting our daughter. Enjoyed the hot tub, fed the cows. All communication was good. I had to work during our stay and the WiFi was good enough for that but a bit slower than what I’m used to (about what we expected so that wasn’t a problem). Rooms were all well appointed. Bathroom could use some upgrading. Enjoyed our stay and would and likely will try to stay here again.
We were looking for rest and relaxation with out disruptions for our 15th anniversary. And yes that is exactly what we got. A truly wonderful experience, it was so quiet and peaceful. The panoramic view of the mountains in the am are breathtaking. Sipping wine in the hot tub evening was bliss. We soon developed a morning habit of walking out to visit the cows with our morning coffee. 😁
Great location. Wonderful stay we would highly recommend it..
hope to stay again!🙏
We had an amazing stay during our trip to North Cascades National Park. This was by far one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were home. I immediately took notice of the non-toxic cleaning products which is extremely rare to find in properties. The eggs were an added bonus for our stay, and we enjoyed making Dutch Pancakes each morning. The fire pit and hot tub were a hit with our family, and we were able to feed the Highland cattle one morning when they were near the fence.
I would highly recommend this property for your stay!
We loved it there. Such a beautiful area and a great location. Perfect for visiting the North Cascades , Mt Baker lake and so many other wonderful outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. The farmhouse is charming, warm and cozy with a home away from feel to it. We would be content just to spend the day hanging around the house and property. The property is gorgeous and the Mountain View’s are stunning. We loved feeding the cows apples and hanging out with Wilson, Clara and the baby we called Teddy. They were so much fun us. Mellissa and Clay are wonderful people and hosts, with tons of local knowledge. I hope we can come back someday.
Growing up, I had two uncles who were dairy farmers so staying here was like a treat from my childhood. My oldest son actually watched a calf being born (the rest of us were on an evening hike). My youngest son and I are amateur birders and this locale is great for that. We saw bald eagles across the field and countless other varieties. We talked to a couple gentlemen on the road while on a walk who said it's some of the best bird watching in the area. (I think one said he was the owners fifth grade teacher). The location was perfect for the hikes we wanted to do: Cascade Pass, Thunder Knob, Sauk Mtn. The home itself is darling. Antiques everywhere. It has everything you need. I was a big fan of the muslin blankets as throws and on the beds, so much so I added them to my cart on Amazon to get during Prime Days.
We loved everything about our stay. The property is very nice with all the correct amenities and the Scottish Highland cows are adorable. We will be back.
We had the best time at the lovely farmhouse and enjoyed every minute of it! Every little detail was perfect and we loved to sit out in the garden and watch the highland cows as the sun sets. We were so sad to leave and hope to be back some day.
We had such a peaceful stay! The place was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The cows were an unexpected treat — so fun to watch and made the whole experience even more special. Would definitely come back!
Farmhouse located in a valley with mountain views. Beds were comfortable. Good location near route 20 for easy access to cascades. We really enjoyed sitting out back watching the sun set. The granddaughter loved feeding apples to the highland cows.
We had a wonderful time at the house. Very close to the National Park and plenty of activities. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities and many “homey” touches. We would highly recommend this property.
