Good place to spend a night if you are in pottsville area. The staff is very helpful, pleasant, and friendly. Making up for the mildly over priced room and the lack luster continental breakfast.

The hotel is under renovation so there are no amenities yet. Late fall 2025. The room was clean and had everything I need and the price was half the main line alternatives. The bed was good and the desk clerk was helpful.

Staff was great although they left the property for lunch and no one was there when we were trying to check in at the desk. Noel, Vincent, Autumn, and the gentlemen who helped with the TV were very kind and hospitable. The facility itself is not new and has undergone soft renovations with paint and flooring over the years. The service was better than years past when we have stayed there, and glad that breakfast in the English Room is back when it was discontinued during the pandemic. This was our first stay since 2022.

The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy! I love that there was NO carpet, but a laminate type floor! Cross street parking and no issues, the street really isn’t busy and there’s a crosswalk. Very, very kind and helpful staff! If I had one suggestion, it would be to possibly put some handrails in the tub. I have ankle and knee issues so that would be helpful, definitely NOT a deal breaker! Looking forward to our yearly visit next August! Will want to stay here again!

Construction makes it hard to evaluate. Handicap access was rough on person with mobility aids. Lobby is great. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Interior walls and carpet are VERY worn. Lots of patching. A coat of paint and go back to hard floors would do a lot to spruce it up. It is only place in Pottsville. Could be worth investment.

Even though the hotel is under renovations, it was very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The staff was very friendly. The only downside we found was with the breakfast. They would only fill a few pieces of eggs and sausage at a time. If you said they needed more, it would take approximately 15 minutes to get more. The breakfast attendant was VERY friendly and helpful though

Our stay

It was a good stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. The desk clerk was very nice the continental breakfast could have been better but it was ok. On the parking you had to park across the street and walk to inn did not like that too much but we had no issues. I would recommend this hotel to people.
