Beautiful Home in Ahwatukee
This vacation rental was a great fit for my family and our two dogs. The property is located in a pretty quiet neighborhood not far from restaurants and grocery stores. The home was clean and decorated very nicely. All of the appliances all worked great. We were especially impressed with the perfectly clear ice from the refrigerator's dispenser. We loved the look of the stone walls inside the home. Also the views of the mountains from several of the upstairs windows were amazing and calming. Finally, the communication with the property owner was superb. They let us know all details needed for arrival and departure in a friendly, non-imposing manner. I would certainly recommend this property.

Good location, great backyard, so-so size
We stayed for a week over the Xmas holiday. Two parents, two kids (13, 17). Positives: Location is great, near a lot of stuff but secluded enough in a subdivision across from a court where you won't get bothered but can still go for a nice walk. Master bedroom is large and spacious Kitchen is somewhat small but beautiful with stone, SS appliances Backyard makes this place worth the rental. Firepit, plenty of room for sitting, great for chilling with coffee in the morning, wine at night, or for a small gathering. Not-so-greats: Overall, the house is pretty small. The living room (which is evident from the pics) is nice but not an ideal spot for a whole family to gather around to watch a game or anything. Nothing wrong with the first level, it's just not very spacious. Without an extra room or loft to spread out with two teenagers, the adults watched TV from the main floor and the kids had to do their gaming/TV from their beds... again, not terrible but it's small for a family of four for a week that are homebodies. EVERY door in the house squeaks, LOUDLY. If you are trying to get out of the bedroom or bathroom or go out back early in the morning without waking anyone up, you won't be able to. It needs to be remedied. Overall, this was a 4/5 rating for us due to the size and some aesthetics that were overlooked. Communication from the property owner was great, they even let us check in a few hours early, The backyard, even though without a pool or hot tub, is pretty spectacular.
