Charming beach bungalow with great beach view and easy beach access.

Beach bungalow with great ocean view and beach access across the street. Wrap around deck perfect for watching the sunset and a large backyard with fire pit for evenings roasting marshmallows or hotdogs add to a spectacular visit at Heceta Beach. We now have wifi! First level has a garage that has an air hockey table and beach toys. The second floor is the main living area that has a queen bed in one room along with a twin bed. The second room could sleep up to 3 people also with a double bed on the bottom bunk and a twin on the top. This bungalow has lots of sunlight and great views all around. 15 minute drive to Heceta light house. 30 minute drive to Yachats, 5 minute drive to Florence. Driftwood Shores store and cafe is right in front of bungalow. Easy check in. A key lock box combo will be provided on day of check in when the house is ready for you.

Lots of charm

Fun cozy bungalow, perfect for a family with kids. Ocean is a block away, firepit and swing in the back yard. Love the ocean themed artwork and decorations in the house.

Charming and rustic beach bungalow

The bungalow has lots of family touches which gives it a homey type feel. The amenities were family friendly and it was close to some great sight-seeing activities. The house could use some serious upkeeping and cleanliness.

We had such a great time with our family here! We visited the beach, roasted s’mores in the backyard, enjoyed the toys in the garage, and had movie night while rolling laundry. Everything is well stocked and very comfortable. We loved it!

Pefect Beach Bungalow!

The perfect home base for the Oregon coast, walk to the beach or sit on the couch and watch the sunset. Beds were comfy and the house was well stocked. The firepit and hammock were the perfect way to end the day. We will be back!

Great place a stones throw to the beach!

Wonderful time making memories by the beach. Everything we needed was supplied. The host was very helpful for a few items needed and was so helpful with quick answers. We highly recommend this place to stay while visitingthe beach. We have no complaints and wish we were able to stay longer in this charming little bungalow.

Great Family Vaca Home

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage.. it is perfect for our family of 5 with adults and our kids aged 17, 16, and 10. The close proximity to heceta beach was awesome, flew some kites and found a few geocashes on the dunes along the beach.. kids really enjoyed the air hockey table in the garage, and the nautical theme of the cottage.. Highly recommend for a family up to 6.. Thank you 😊

One Aunt and a Bunch of Cousins

Great location, view of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets from picture window. Stocked with all the kitchen necessities. Cute and cozy. Sleeps six, yes, but bear in mind that if you are all adults, one of those spots is a very short top bunk. Overall wonderful experience.

Cute little bungalow

We really enjoyed staying in this cute little bungalow. It had everything we needed including a hoard of toys which the kids absolutely loved….including the teenager. The vcr tape collection was quite impressive. We loved watching some old classics as a thunderstorm unexpectedly rolled through. We enjoyed a nice campfire to roast marshmallows one evening. Saw a baby deer bound through the backyard. The garage filled with big toys like bikes and sleds and skateboards was quite the treat. What a great little rental for a family. We will be back. Thank you!!

Amazing, cozy beach cottage with oceanviews

6 of us stayed 2 nights at this cozy beach cottage. Check in was a breeze. The garage is filled with bikes, scooters, a skateboard, air hockey…..tons of things to keep the kids entertained when not at the beach. The beach is a very short walk from the house. The living room has a large window where you can see the beach and watch the sunset. The back porch is cozy as well with plenty of room and seating area to catch the ocean breeze and watch the waves. Plenty of linens, towels, extra blankets if needed. The house was clean and beds comfortable. There is also a market deli that serves breakfast and lunch/dinner that is across the street so it’s very convenient for a quick bite. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this beach cottage. You really can’t beat the location!

Delightful beach cabin!

We found the cabin to be in good condition and decorated in a tasteful nautical kitsch, clean and well stocked with kitchen staples, linens, etc.. It is a perfect compact size and has all the comforts needed for a vacation on the beach. The sofa and loveseat are comfortable and ample for up to four adults. One bedroom has a bunk with lower full size and upper single mattress. The other bedroom has a queen and a single mattress. The view of the beach from inside the home and the deck is a nice added delight. Our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and exactly what a beach stay should be! The hosts answered our questions and any concerns promptly and in a friendly accommodating manner. I recommend this retreat for anyone who needs a respite and change of scenery!

Amazing family rental!

This house was the most comfy place I think we could have picked, our girls(8,5,3, 6mo) had the most amazing time! With the short walk to the beautiful heceta beach and all the sand castle toys they provided, the air hockey in the garage, the backyard and swings the girls never even really wanted to leave the house! We enjoyed yummy home cooked meals and of course a sea food boil! The beds were all super comfy the house just feels like home! We didn't want to leave! It's the perfect location especially if you have littles, short drive to the famous sea lion caves, hobbit trail, heceta lighthouse, tide pools I could go on and on about how much there is to do around there for very little to no money! The host is absolutely amazing as well! Thank you so much for sharing your home! Our family definitely made unforgettable memories to last a life time and are already planning our next trip back!

Cute beach house

This place was great for me and my family (spouse and two kids). It was exactly as described in the listing and the reviews. It is an older beach house that’s clearly been loved. Great toys in the garage, fairly well stocked kitchen, very close to the beach. As stated in other reviews, there are no doors on the bedrooms, just curtains. Parts of the house are a bit run down, such as the bathroom. It was fairly clean when we arrived but there is dirt etc in the corners and under the beds. Not a big deal for us but it may bother others. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact.

Charming Home with Potential but Disappointed by a Few Cleanliness Issues

There were some cleanliness issues in the kitchen and bathroom, and the place could benefit from a deep clean. This was unexpected, given the previous positive reviews. While this didn't significantly hamper our experience, it was surprising. On the positive side, our children enjoyed the VHS collection, and we appreciated the open area in the kitchen, dining, and living room. The open windows give the space plenty of fresh air and sunlight. Additionally, it’s an easy walk to the beach. Although the home is outdated, as expected, some minor upgrades could make it feel fresher and wouldn't cost much. If you don't want to spend time at the beach, the location is great as there's lots to do.

Cute Rustic Bungalow Steps from the Beach

My husband and I stayed 3 nights with two adult children. The location is great. Easy short walk to the beach and you can watch and hear the waves from the house. It was somewhat rainy and chilly so we spent more time at the house than we normally might have. The quarters are definitely cozy but that’s the point - being together! The kitchen is adequately stocked with all the necessary supplies to cook just about whatever you want. We didn’t find the tabletop gas BBQ mentioned in the listing but that wasn’t a big deal. The “kids” (college age) enjoyed the air hockey table and got a kick out of watching some of the old VHS movies. There are no doors, just hanging curtains to the bedrooms. Didn’t bother us at all - there a fan if you need it for drowning out traveling snores 😴 The fire pit is rustic but fully functional and my husband was a happy camper tending to a little fire out back. It’s super quiet. Didn’t hear a peep from anyone around us. Quick drive into Florence or a little longer the other way and you’re in Yachats. We did both. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here. This is our second time and hopefully not the last. Even though there are curtains instead of doors on the bedrooms, we make it work by being quiet when we were up and others are sleeping still. The view is nice!
