Relax with a crisp drink on the newly renovated screened sun porch complete with an outdoor porch and gas grill.

You’ll love the convenience of a living room on each floor, both featuring big screen televisions. Warm wood accents throughout add a coastal New England touch.

The main and second living rooms are both equipped with big screen TVs and ample comfortable seating for everyone.

KITCHEN & DINING

Cook tasty meals in the kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of new appliances complimented by new flooring.

The dining table and breakfast nook each offering seating for four.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps up to six guests between three bedrooms. All of the bedroom mattresses have been recently upgraded.

The primary bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a new big screen smart TV. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom is outfitted with a queen-sized bed and a new smart TV.

The third bedroom contains two twin beds and a new smart TV.

The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. A half bath adds convenience.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Convenient to town, clean and great for families

Nice home for a family or friends getaway

The home was located in a residential neighborhood with ease of parking. House was large enough for an above average size family or group of friends. The home was semi modern and clean we would definitely recommend.

Good place for an extended stay

This is an older house, but is in pretty good condition. No major issues except some cosmetics, good kitchen comfortable living room. Nice central location for Oak Bluffs in Vineyard Haven. Good house for an extended stay.

Decent home for you stay at the Vineyard

The house is good for a stay for up about 6 people, but no more. The kitchen has new appliances and the Wi-Fi was decent and was pretty reliable. The location is very convenient to Oaks Bluff and anywhere else on the island provided that you have a car to get around. The only issues we had with the house was that the furniture was somewhat dusty and the beds had dust balls and some bugs on them. Probably due to the fact the it was a good bit of time between renters. Also, the window A/C units in some of the guest bed rooms are noisy and made clanging nosily which made it hard to fall asleep.

It was the least expensive option in the area. We feel we got a little better than expected for the price, but there is absolutely no ocean views and you do need a car to get around. Very close to the shopping area of Oak Bluffs. Carpets really need to be cleaned and the furniture was old. The beds were comfortable. Functioning kitchen for cooking in. Did not use grill.

The house is unkempt. The carpet was stained and dirty; dirty towels left; bugs came in through the window fans that were improperly installed; nail holes in the wall; and so much more. This house requires work before renting to another family. I had to purchase cleaning and sterilization supplies to feel somewhat comfortable staying in the home. This could be a nice home with proper cleaning and TLC.

Recommendations

It was a good-sized property that was conveniently located. We enjoyed the screened in porch tremendously. However, there were several areas for improvement. For example, the bathroom for the secondary bedrooms had a faulty door. It would not close which was terribly inconvenient. The property requires pest control service. We experienced a lot of bugs, ants, and other insects. There was an old grill outside the front entrance of the property. Along with the overgrown grass, the grill gave the appearance of a vacant or abandoned home. The grass was cut late Wednesday afternoon, near the end of our stay which began on Sunday. One of the secondary bedrooms did not have air conditioning and was terribly hot inside upon our arrival. We were able to adjust the room fan to reverse the air flow and this helped. However, it was bewildering to find a wiondow a/c unit in the bedroom closet in the floor. Once inside, the space was satisfactory for our stay, albeit minor improvements necessary.

House was dated. Spiders everywhere. Dust everywhere. Heat didn’t work reported all of it was told someone was coming to fix stuff nobody ever showed up. No call no email no nothing. Terrible service. Honestly I want my money back. Oh and nowhere to throw our garbage so house smelled. It was never cleared before we came.
