great, big room with an amazing view (ask to be on the higher floors) but sadly felt it lacked amenities, like complimentary water or breakfast. this may be a nyc thing however. I felt the staff was really nice!
This is a hotel under construction. Water falls from the ceiling in bathroom. Uneven mattress. Dirty carpet all over the room. Location is close to everything. Good restaurants and good coffee shops. I was afraid before because all the bad reviews but the truth is this is a cheap hotel because is under construction and close to all the tourist spots. For me is perfect. No complaints. Thank you.

Got bit up so bad by bed bugs.
I will say that the renovations look nice.
No central heating. Only space heater.
I think the location was alright though.
Room was fine. Overall poor condition of property. Walls are very thin, you can hear everyone at night screaming. Staff are acceptable. If you need a convenient location this is acceptable, but definitely if there are nicer places for the same price, you should probably book those instead.
Location was great , room was cozy but the wall had mold.

Great for what you pay for. They let us keep our bags there before and after we checked out for a small fee. Strange reception and initial impressions but the room itself and location was great!
The room itself was fine. Big and spacious and for an early check in reasonable. However the ac and heat does not work and they lack basic amenities like a microwave or coffee pot. The location is perfect about 13 min walk from time square and next to a lot of good restaurants. Staff on the other hand rude and slow. They don’t answer the phone or resolve problems. Be sure to ask for the WiFi password before leaving the desk

There was ONE person at the desk as staff for the entire 15 floor hotel. The place looks like it was recently renovated but there was no staff to help with the luggage or help with the tv not working. No furniture to seat at the lobby!!!! Good location though

The hotel features spacious rooms in a prime location of New York City. It is close to the United Nations and Times Square. Rates are reasonable. The Hotel could use some TLC and service orientation. The lobby is chilly and understaffed. Coffee service is provided in the lobby but is spotty. Calls to reception and service went unanswered. The room was not cleaned in spite of a service please sign placed on the door. Television screens are merely decorative as there is no reception or cables for computer connection.
Staff was okay, the card wasn’t working which wasn’t anyone fault but the concierge gave us a different room with a functioning key card. The room was clean and had a lot of seating and counter space. A little disappointed not one of the outlets were usb but that was my fault for not bringing a wall charger.
Great location
walkable distance from Times Square and 5th Avenue
The room was nice and spacious
Very friendly and helpful staff
Minor inconveniences is that the room is not soundproof and the tv is not a smart tv
Other than that we had a great stay!

The room was clean and the location was fantastic! The hotel wasn't in the best repair; many parts of the hotel were held together with packing tape and baling twine. The staff was either super friendly and helpful or looking at their phones; it was a mixed bag. The price was right, but it was definitely no frills. No in-room coffee or water, not even an overpriced mini-bar. You get what you pay for!

Let’s call a spade a spade. It’s a well priced hotel a few blocks from grand central and the general quality of stay matches the dollar amount. People writing scathing reviews would need to be paying at least triple to have all their specific needs met. The bathroom was newer / clean, The sheets appeared to be clean, and it didn’t smell too musty. Upon arrival, the receptionist took like 25 seconds to acknowledge my existence because she was deeply engrossed in a TikTok reel, but I’m not one to care about that stuff. My biggest complaint is that in 2025 (almost 2026) they still have carpet… but again, I know what I was paying for. If you’re on a budget but want a convenient location in the city, you could absolutely do worse.
I had a terrible experience on the check-in with a woman dressed like she's a tourist herself in shorts and a half shirt. Her communication as a hotel front desk is lacking, not even a greeting to welcome her guests. When she requests for payment of the service fee was unclear followed by a request for $150 deposit, it was more of a demand than a request.
At checkout, since there is a written instruction that check outs need to be done at the front desk, I went to the front desk only to be greeted by another sign saying that the receptionist is away. I had to leave my room key cards and hoped that I will be properly checked out and my $150 deposit will be credited back to my card. So, check-in and check-out experiences are rated as 0.
Clean room with improved amenities from the last time I stayed in this property. I didn't realize it was the same hotel as the hotel name changed.
Another bad experience was the room temperature. It was on at 80 degrees despite the temperature outside being in the 70's. When I called the front desk, I was told that the heat was centralized and cannot be changed. I was advised to open a window. Seriously?
I will never book with this hotel again. I will make sure that I check the address so I won't be fooled by the change of hotel names.

on arrival the room was not ready. we were asked to return in an hour. we came back to find a long line of people all waiting for their rooms. the guy on reception just started his shift and said he has no idea why but no rooms were ready, cleaning would still be another hour. by this time its nearly 5pm, check in supposed to be 2pm. the hotel feels more like serviced apartments. the rooms are very big by any hotel standard, hot, full pressure shower, comfy bed, and warm. however the tv was hanging off the wall, the rooms didnt get made up unless asked despite the door sign requesting it. there was lots of mess in the lobby as they had a free coffee urn of the weakest coffee known to mankind. so people would pour a cup, then abandon it and these would add up all day long and no on would attend to it. no bell man, no real services and you have to pay per bag to be looked after if you want to store it after check out. lucky the room was big and warm or i wouldnt have been impressed. not what id call worth the money but it did the job.
