The 87Getaway Cabin #2

A park like setting close to the Blanchard Spring Caverns. An outdoor rustic feel that's still close to town. Fire pits, satellite television, and barbecue grills help give you the feel of being in nature without sacrificing the comforts you are used to at home.

Cabin #2 is situated in the center of 87Getaway with one bedroom and one bath. The bedroom sleeps two with a queen sized bed. Stainless steel appliances contrast the feel of being in nature. Under a blanket of trees sits your perfect getaway with a patio, BBQ grill, and a fire pit for a real feeling of camping.

Close to the Ozark National forest, there is abundant wildlife surrounding you. Deer, squirrels, and birds populate the area and offer an extra layer of excitement to your stay. Being only 6 miles outside of Mountain View gives you the seclusion that you expect from a park themed stay, without the hassle of not being able to enjoy local stores and entertainment.

Cabin #2 can sleep a maximum of 5 people spread out between a queen sized bed, a queen sized fold out sleeper sofa, and a twin sized cot that can be provided if requested.

This is a cute cabin with a great location. It's close to the highway but far enough to be quiet, and it is so close to lots of great hikes! We also loved hanging out with Joey, one of the coolest kitties you'll ever meet!

It is a great location! I met the host the next morning and Frank is a great host, and made sure we had enough fire wood for the fire pit. Easy to get to Mt View (10 min away) and beautiful scenery all around. We celebrated my son's 11th bday, and we had a blast!! Definitely plan on staying again!

Great getaway.

Quiet and relaxing setting. Our interests in music venues were a short drive away. The cabin was very clean and the amenities were exceptional..better than anticipated. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a nature experience.

Was a beautiful setting in the fall leaves a short drive from town well worth the effort for the privacy We watched wild turkeys one afternoon in the yards. Was a quiet setting.

Mountain View Getaway

We were in the area for the 2024 Spring Bluegrass Festival at the Folk Center. This cabin was out of town in a very quiet area. It was super clean, and Frank was just the best. We will definitely try to stay here again if it’s not already booked!

It was a nice place, quiet. Place was clean. I wish the yard had been mowed so I could have utilized the grill but that was a minor thing. Also the bed was too soft for my taste. Overall my experience was good and I enjoyed my stay.
