Coming back from a 6 month camping trip around Australia, we spend the last nights in Undara. It was an exceptional nice finish. Recommend it to fellow travelers.

Nice relaxed lodge in the heart of the bush
Stayed in a three bedroomed unit in the Undara Lodge complex. A little cramped but well appointed and a nice verandah overlooking the bush. A large number of well marked bush walks bringing you to fantastic views. Spotted lots of wildlife including kangaroos. Restuarant on site was good and reasonably priced although the selection of dishes was limited. Did the tour to the lava tubes which was very interesting - the guide told us lots about the tubes and the bush in general.

comfortable Pioneer Hut
Nice hut with verandah overlooking the woodland, parking alongside. Restaurant and bar good, with choice of seating near fire, in large open covered area or in an old railway dining carriage. Night entertainment (trivia, talks) around campfire enjoyable. Tours with their guides good, informative. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very good
Spacious and comfortable unit but needed a toaster in room to make our breakfast, a small sink would also be helpful. Loved the outdoor dining area, great atmosphere.

Great time with the family
We stayed at the 120 years old restored railway carriage and it's clean and tidy. The cave tour was amazing but make sure you book ahead as it fills up quickly. The kids loved the bush breakfast as they cooked toast themselves on the fire. Overall good experience for everyone.
