Really like because the hotel was in fact in Old Montreal, the Notre Dame basilica was only two blocks from the hotel excellent for walk to the water and easy walking to dinner

The room was clean and spacious. The check in was efficient and quick. The bed was comfortable. The area is noisy due to nightlife. They provide ear plugs and a sound machine to help. It didn’t bother me very much but it could bother others. It is walkable to so many bars and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again. 10/10!

I never received the email with access code as mentioned in the reservation confirmation email. I stayed on the street with my luggage for 30 minutes till I was able to call someone and help (as there is no staff onsite). She was very helpful, but it wasn't a great experience after a long flight to wait to half an hour before I can get into my room. Thanks,

The Sonder property I stayed at in Montreal was in a good location for walking to the Jazz Festival venues, to walk to the walking tour, to walk to the docks, to walk to the Hop on Hop off bus tour, and to walk to a number of restaurants. It was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The only thing I would add, I was wishing there was a light over the vanity mirror.

Good room, well placed in city

Really well situated for city access. Room was good, but lacked any opening windows, air con was ok. Lovely and clean on arrival, except old food in fridge ! But no house keeping during the stay, which was a shame. Nice room.

No contact with any staff at all as all access via door codes, so cannot judge - it would be useful though to let international travellers know that there is no (daily) housekeeping in Canada when staying more than 1 night - especially as I had to mop the bathroom floor with the towel mat (with no spare dry one after that) after showering on my arrival the 1st day due to lack of a door to close cubicle space and tricky dual shower heads (took a bit of time to figure out how to use one or the other, some instructions would help) that splashed water into half of the bathroom including shelf, with floor next to shower "flooded". Also, a chair in the bedroom would be nice.

No fuss or muss. Get a code to enter the building and up the elevator and into your room. No lines to check in or staff to hand you a key after waiting in line. Its like home.

The elevator is definitely going to break soon, it makes awful shaking and grinding noises. Aside from that the stairs work and the room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was excellent…only thing you need to be aware of is that this property in on top of and near several bars and nightclubs and so there will be noise after hours. They do provide guests with ear plugs, but if you need absolute quiet then this place may not be the one for you. Other than that the location is ideal as you’re in the hub of the Old Port of Montreal!

Cleanliness was exceptional. It was very quiet. I did not like that you could not just turn on the tv for local programs. You had to use their app which I was unable to connect with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonder Saint Paul. The other reviews are correct- the rooms are minimal, the shower door isn't super private, the shower design is silly, but the location is amazing. Lots of restaurants in this area, super convenient to walk around old port, grand quai etc. And the price was doable. Check in and check out process is easy!

Such a cute hotel! We had a little trouble with the codes into the building & elevator but nothing major. Just as a *good to know* parking in this area is truly awful! If you’re driving, be prepared to pay for parking or a parking ticket 🙃
