Family spring break vacation

Overall pleased with the condo. Great location with easy access to the beach. Our only concern was the kitchen was bare minimumly stocked and frying pans are in dire need of replacing.

Beautiful View!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 stayed for almost a week. The view of the Emerald Coast can’t be beat from the balcony! We had all of the amenities we needed to cook for and feed our three teens, saving a lot of money. There’s a grocery store not far away which came in handy. Several restaurants are close by and a great coffee shop just down the road. We will definitely be back!

Deep Clean and Updates Needed

The bedding was stained, the couches are grimy with aged wear and tear, walls/ceilings/flooring are very dirty looking. The property is as shown and described but you do not get a good feel for how worn out the unit really is until you are in it. On a positive note, you get a great view from the balcony and it's great to have access to the beach chairs.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property was excellent. However the unit was “nasty”. For what we paid for 2 nights, it was disappointing. The beds were not clean, bathrooms were dirty and the entire unit was dusty. We had to wash bed linen and spray before we could relax at all. This unit #1105 needs serious updates. The cleaning fee needs to be refunded bc we did the cleaning. Also for the price per night, coffee and laundry detergent should be in the unit and update the coffee maker. It is from the 70’s. I expected more and was highly disappointed. I wished we had just got a hotel. Clean it it and do some updates.

Could be great with some updates

This condo was okay but needs a little bit of money reinvested into it. First for the good things: comfortable beds, good kitchen appliances, dining table and bar stools, beautiful view and no bugs. Now for the bad, the larger sofa needs replaced. The pullout bed is completely sitting on the floor under couch. When you sat on the couch the cushions sunk down into frame where pull out bed was suppose to be. We didn’t even attempt to use the pull out sofa bed. The balcony furniture was awful! Cheap and uncomfortable metal chairs. The kitchen needs a new set of eating utensils. There was literally 4 forks! The wall paint wasn’t in bad shape but the baseboards were in need of a good cleaning and fresh paint. Both bathrooms need to be updated and a good cleaning. They smelled musty. The master shower wasn’t draining properly either. You would be standing in 3 inches of water by the time you finished your shower. The unit also had zero hair dryers. I had to borrow one out of a friends condo since they were provided in their rental which was not seascapes rental. The master bedroom at least had a bed headboard, nightstand and one wobbly dresser. The second bedroom had no headboard and no dresser. Only a night stand and a book case with 3 shelves. The decor in the entire condo is neither inviting or warm. Our friends rented a condo in building A that was super cute and inviting. I would not rent this unit again until updates were made.

My Happy Place

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and had all the necessary things available! We were close enough to restaurants and shopping. We love staying at Miramar and will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

Second time at Majestic Sun and this spot was the fantastic as usual. Love that the building is non-smoking and I don’t think you’ll be able to find a better destination within Destin.

The property was advertised as a beach front. However, it’s a little deceiving considering the property has a busy street separating the beach and property.
