I was very disappointed with my recent stay. As a Gold member, there was no Upgrade offered. When going to my allocated room, 2 doors down was a sign on the door of room 7, Isolation Room. Not a pleasant greeting. My room (9) was in a very dismal , dark corner with no outlook. Wifi was non existent and my phone went into SOS in most rooms. As this was business trip, this was not satisfactory. I do respect that we are in Covid and Adina was being cautious, I felt it went over the top and felt like I was in isolation. The wine offered as a Gold Member was a 250 ml bottle, most hotels offer 750ml, there was 1 normal black teabag provided in a cliplock bag. I appreciate where the hotel is situated, it is an area that requires security, but the measures they went to, made it an effort to pop out for more teabags.As mentioned earlier, I respect their efforts due to Covid but felt it was way over the top. I was meant to stay 2 nights but vacated my room the next morning and completed my stay at another hotel chain, who respecting the current situation, was much more welcoming and did not make me feel I was in quarantine myself and fulfilled my minimal requirements. Sorry, but will not be going back to Adina St Kilda.
