Drive into Sky Mountain Farm and up the 1/3 mile driveway to our upscale secluded log cabin with hot tub and fireplace. See deer and an occasional black bear on the way. Smell the natural wood when entering the cabin. Sit in the family room, master bedroom or cedar deck and view the grassy hollow of green grass and flowing stream in season and hiking trails on 16 acres. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars and moonlight. Plenty of hiking and walking Sky Mountain Farm property. Only two miles north of Cacapon State Park (Cacapon Resort).

Our cabin features three bedrooms and a convertible sofa bed, sleeping 8 adults comfortably. We also have two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax in the comfortable family room and enjoy meals together in our cozy dining room. Or you might enjoy a game of foosball in our game nook. Our cabin features a 3/4 wrap around deck overlooking the hollow and a hammock to enjoy the breeze. And don't forget the hot tub, which is open year round.

We are two miles north of Cacapon State Park and Resort, which offers hiking, kayaking, playground, picnic area and pavilion. a swimming beach, horse back riding, golf, wobble clays, a lodge for meetings, events and lodging, and camping cabins.

If you enjoy town, there are many options for dining, entertainment and shopping. Berkeley Springs State Park offers massage and therapeutic spring baths. There are also several spas in town to choose from. And if it is art you are after, all of our shops offer local art and handcrafts.

The setting was lovely, wonderfully quiet and secluded in the woods, and the cabin was very comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved hiking in the nearby Cacapon Resort State Park and it great being pretty close to the nice restaurants of Berkeley Springs.

Great for a short relaxing getaway

If you're looking for something out of the way and seek privacy, this is the spot for you. Close to a very large state park, with many different activities. The town of Berkeley Springs is very nice. Definitely worth a visit.

A great place to be close to Mother Nature & God

Very quiet & relaxing .The cabin is very comfortable. We enjoyed having a hot tub. Enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the deck, listening to the birds & etc. Enjoyed going into Berkeley Springs, walking around the springs & learning all the history of the area.

Weekend getaway

Was looking for a 3 day weekend getaway to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. We wanted to be close to Cacapon State Park for hiking. Also needed a dog friendly place. This place checked all the boxes. We slept in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and both beds were comfy. The house was both rustic with all of the wood interior as well as cute. Cleanliness is high in my list and I found this place to be quite clean. Internet service is a bit spotty but we managed with no big problems. The town of Berkeley Springs is very close which is a plus. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening. I would definitely recommend this place. Host was very responsive and very kind.

Perfect Hide Away

The perfect getaway!

The property is the perfect oasis to get away from it all with friends! An annual tradition for us now, this property is perfect if you just want to spend your time relaxing on property or going out and enjoying the the wonderful community. From the kitchen to the beds to the hot tub and family area in a beautiful and cozy log cabin (along with a wonderful and responsive owner!), we could feel our stress and troubles melt away and the rest, relaxation and reprieve start to regenerate the second we arrived! We love this property!

Peaceful Cabin

This is a very quiet, peaceful location. The cabin was adequately sticked with starter supplies and linens. The few issues we had, Gina was on top of correcting and none were due to neglect or anything, just standard things. My biggest suggestion is plan to cook most of your meals in the cabin as the restaurants in town are not the greatest and there is only one grocery store.

The cabin was spotless! You definitely have privacy. The State Park is huge and worth visiting. I swam in the lake and the pool in town. The water at the pool was probably cooler. The local restaurants were mediocre.

Lovely spot among the treetops!

If you are looking for someplace where you won’t see neighbors, yet are still close to town, you won’t be disappointed. The back deck and hot tub were the highlights. The host was VERY responsive. Great cabin, perfect location

This cabin is in the perfect spot between Berkeley Springs and cacapon state park. We were able to spend a day at the spa and eating the best dinner at Lot 12 and a day hiking at Cacapon State Park. Both were easily to get to from this centrally located cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. It was very private and you truly felt alone in the woods. The hot tub was a nice bonus after a day of hiking. Everything was clean and thoughtful. The books and games were a nice touch.

Absolute gem hidden in the woods!

Wow, what a wonderful and cozy cabin! The house feels very new and well cared for and everything from the bedding to the furniture to the pots in the kitchen are well thought out and comfortable for guests. The spacing inside the house is perfect for a family or group. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and surrounded by forest but a quick drive to town and to hiking trails in Cacapon State Park. The host is very responsive and kind. It was not a problem for us but the only thing to note is that Wi-Fi did not work during our visit so we would not recommend someone come with the intention to work while staying.

Girls Weekend!

First 2024 Girls Weekend went off with a bang ‼️ Spending a weekend gossiping and giggling with my friends is one awesome experience. This cabin is big enough for 6 ladies to relax and enjoy hanging out with a keg of Fireball and Jell-O shots! Cozy bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms enhance your comfort. We had a little trouble with the hot tub and even with great instructions from Host Gina, she still had to send her hubby to our rescue. Extremely quiet and secluded , yet your drive into town (Berkeley Springs) is under 10 minutes at best. I would recommend this property and Host. You won’t regret it.

Quick trip area

My wife and I were in the Berkeley Springs area for an event at Ft. Frederick. We wanted a quiet, secluded spot to spend our down time together. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Once you are at the cabin you are in a world all your own, and the hot tub overlooking what may as well be your private, wooded valley is amazing (particularly after being outside in a cold drizzle most of the day). There isn't much in the area, but the important stuff (grocery store, convenience store, gas station) is about 15 minutes up the road, which was perfect since we cooked and ate most of our meals at the cabin. If you're coming to the area for the night life, fine dining or such .... you may be in the wrong place. The interior could use some more / better lighting in areas and the driveway is not made for low setting vehicles. That's it, my only two observations (can't even call them negative observations). We will absolutely stay here in the future if we return to the area.

Host was great. She got back to me really quick. Only suggestion I have is a better light for the back deck so it lights up the back deck a little more. Love to be in hot tub at dark but was not a lot of light on the back deck. Very nice place and would definitely go back.
