Sleepless night

It was a small room and had to squeeze between the bed and wall to get in. Almost had to use the foot stool to get in the bed secondary to being so high up and the mattress was extremely firm. The pillows were super soft which did not go with the firm bed, woke up several times in the night to re fluff the pillows and still woke up with a sore neck. The thing that bothered me the most was the curtain in the bathroom was screwed to the wall and you could not close them for privacy. The building next door had a perfect view to look in so I stayed low if I had to be near the window. It had a nice Victorian atmosphere but I’m glad it was just one night. We picked it because of the proximity of a winery we went to.

We had a lovely stay at the Purple Victorian. We were in town for a wedding that evening, and its close proximity without a two night minimum stay made it absolutely perfect for us. I loved the style and charm of the room. It was especially ideal for Valentine’s Day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Check in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and easy. We highly recommend staying here.
