We never received a message telling us how to check in so we had to contact the owner when we arrived. Upon entering the property around 10:00 we found that the toilet seat was broken and not attached. (The bolts were laying on the floor). We immediately reported this to the owner who proceeded to accuse us of breaking it. It took 32 hours for someone to come repair the toilet. We had to squat to use it! There was a hole drilled in the ceiling with insulation all over floor under it, no shades on the bedroom windows, no sheets on beds, motion light across from bedroom with glass doors kept coming on and staying on for long period of time rendering room unusable, no dining room table, dirty clothes left on shelf and floor, towels were damp, sleeps 8 but only three places to sit in TV room, no drinking glasses, steps are very steep and would be very difficult for elderly. We had to leave the property early due to all the issues listed above. We reported the broken toilet as the toilet was completely unusable especially for our son with special needs. We travel very extensively and have never had such a terrible experience.
