The grounds are really well kept. We liked that you offer private access to Blacks Beach. We also liked that the unit had ceiling fans and security screens on all windows, allowing us to sleep with fresh air.

Two story house close to beach

The property is close to the beach has got pools and a tennis court. The unit was not cleaned to standard, the dishwasher didn’t work properly as it was full of food scraps left from previous customer, the upstairs air con was not cooling, the WiFi was not working. For the price we have paid to what we received not worth it in my opinion.

We loved how quiet and secluded each apartment was. The managers were so friendly and helpful . Will be recommending it to all. The apartment had a full size kitchen and large living area. We loved everything about it. There was an excellent pool and outdoor entertaining area and close to the beach.

Great resort style accom for a beach getaway

We were so close to the beach at The Shores Apartments that we could hear the ocean at night. The accommodation was clean, tidy and had nice decor; it was perfect for our family of 4.

It was in a great location for us.

Minutes from family, fantastic surroundings, Great accomodation, staff more than friendly. A most pleasurable experience, and would highly recommend.

Wonderful location

We had a great time here with only a short walk to the beach through lovely gardens and paths. Great unit and thank you for your recommendation of dinner at the old pub up on the hill. My only criticism is when there are 2 large cars next to each other in the carports - not enough room to get our suitcases past the cars.

Nice rooms big kitchen comfy couch comfortable beds only real down fall was room smelt like stale cigarettes but apart from that was lovely and the kids enjoyed the tennis court, pools and beach was stunning. Would stay again

A Wonderful Find

I didn't want to stay in the city of Mackay so I chose Blacks Beach, 10 km away, and I am very glad that I did. The hotel and its grounds are well maintained and the hotel is situated in a very good suburb right on an incredibly long, wide and beautiful beach that has amazing views towards the Whitsunday islands. Although it was only the two of us in a two-bedroom townhouse (the only accommodation available) it was very worth the cost. The kitchen allowed us to do a bit of cooking (Woolworths and Coles supermarkets plus McDonalds not far down the road) and there was even a washer and drier in the unit.. Would I stay again? Absolutely!!!
