From the moment you walk in, the vaulted pinewood walls & ceiling and unique features make this custom built Log Cabin just feel special. One look out back and you see and hear the mountain stream with small waterfall and access to take a dip & cool off... or just take a deep breath & relax...
1st fl. full bathroom and bedroom (queen), 2nd fl. two twin beds and it's own 1/2 bath with killer view. Note: all towels, blankets, and linen are included.
A full kitchen: fridge, 4burner oven, microwave, toaster, & toaster oven, glasses & silverware, dining table (has extendable leafs) ... Entertainment ctr. has a dvd player and apx 100 different types of music and a wide range of movies, some board games, cards, and books. (yes I said books) Free WiFi (just no cable tv.) So unplug and unwind! Reconnect to the one your with. The activities folder has directions to countless hiking options (rates them from novice, intermediate, to advanced... maps, distance, & average length of time descriptions to help pick the best ones for you.) There are also guides to many local attractions... Trust me; You will run out of day before you run out of things to do. There is also a Dining Guide Folder with many of my favorites.
The perfect couples cabin; easy to find but hard to leave, you will want to tell your friends and return again and again.

Please put the keys on the hooks where you found them (locking up is not required as house-keeping comes on check-out day.)
Items that are left for guest to use such as cork screws, steak knives, cups, glasses... etc. are not souvenirs! Please leave them for the next guest. Thank you from the bottom of my hart. ~Dave~
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

No glass or fires down on rocks by the river. And the wind will blow unattended items down river, towels etc. don't want to loose it?...dont leave it.
Up stream and half-way across the river is deeded to the Mount Liberty. Do not go onto their property; In kind their guests not to be here.
Please understand that sound travels here on the river; Please no foul and/or loud language and music, outside. I and, neighbors, Thank You!

Great weekend away in a perfect spot, Dave is a great host and the cabin right on the river isa perfect get away spot to relax and enjoy whats around you. We would love to come back and visit again in the future

Excellent stay!

Nice owner. Well appointed space in a convenient location. Wish we were able to enjoy the backyard and access to the river more but we were only there for 2 days and hiking for most of it.

Camp David is THE PLACE if you want to relax streamside in comfy surroundings that are close to everything you may need. Easy to find. Dave is super hospitable and a great host!

Nice stay for what we needed

Dave was kind to us and told us plenty about the area that we could’ve done hadn’t it been for a wedding. Place was nice and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the river and the rocks in the backyard.

Awesome stay

Absolutely one of our best stays with VRBO. The location was superb, quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes from downtown and located by many scenic drives and hikes. The highlight was undoubtedly the “Pemi” river right behind the cabin and we spent hours enjoying it. Dave was a great host and the house was spotless and had everything we needed.

New Hampshire get-away

Camp David was a great location for our very short stay on a New England road trip. Prior guest reviews were accurate; David is a wonderful host and the cottage/cabin is relatively new and well-appointed. The backyard has a great view and ramble-tamble of the Pemigewasset River.

Great getaway

Great location and peaceful with the river flowing in the back. Dave is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to flooding at home.

David went above and beyond to have anything you might need available on the property. Great location for covering points of interest on the eastern side of the white mountains and into Vermont.

Wonderful Stay!

Camp David was incredible! The backyard view was absolutely amazing. We could not have found a better place to stay. Everything was so clean and organized, and the check in process very easy. We loved that he had binders with all different activities, trails and restaurants to try. We would recommend Camp David to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the White Mountains, we plan on returning next year! Thanks again Dave!!

Peaceful Getaway

Camp David is the cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Listening to the rolling river each night with windows down and cool breeze was just what we needed after weeks of Florida summer weather. David is super friendly, responsive and helpful- greeting you as you arrive and making sure you have everything you need.

great little cottage

Camp David was perfect for us. David was very helpful. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight draw back that we didn't realize, was it was just off the highway. BUT the backyard was great! Sits right on the river. Very peaceful.

Perfect Get Away

This was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. The cabin had everything we needed and David was the nicest person! He greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were familiar with the area, cabin, and grounds. He also gave us some great recommendations on places to go. We had everything we needed and he made sure the cabin was very clean and well stocked. Thus was a great experience and we cant wait to come back!

Family Getaway

We had a great time. The cabin was immaculate. Dave was there to greet us. Super helpful, provided lots of tips on things to do and see. The cabin had everything. We were having a family getaway, had lots of time to cook and enjoy the beautiful mountains and landscape New Hampshire has to offer. Thanks Dave, we hope to make this an annual event.

Relaxing spring getaway

We had a nice relaxing stay. Cabin was very clean, nicely maintained, warm, cozy and perfect. Dave stopped by to greet us and provided insights and tips to local attractions. Location was close to several trails, hikes and waterfalls. We spent quality, peaceful time watching the river in the backyard. The only drawback I can think of is if you need internet access for work or study, plan accordingly as internet is spotty. We couldn’t not have asked for better relaxing getaway.

Serenity

The host, David, was very friendly and helpful. His place has a lovely setting with the river running just below his backyard! Having the bedroom window open at night and listening to the stream was a piece of heaven. Camp David was just a couple miles north of Woodstock, NH, where we chose to eat dinner because of the large crowds and traffic congestion in Lincoln.
