Cozy upstairs 2 bed apartment offers a clean comfortable stay near downtown Richmond and the EKU campus. Walking distance to Purdy's Coffee or Bluegrass Barrel House (BBH). Centrally located for ease of commuting to downtown Richmond, Wal-mart, Kroger, Richmond Centre shopping and numerous restaurants. Easy no contact check in / check out process. Security cameras on site. Egyptian cotton towels and microfiber sheets provided. Full size washer / dryer in unit. Located 7 minutes from I-75. No pets please, as there's no green space at our unit.

About The space
Our Richmond rental space is comprised of 4 upstairs units, 2 - 1 bed/1bath units and 2 - 2 bed/1 bath units with a well lighted parking lot and 24 hour surveillance. This is unit #2 and offers 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds that have Serta 2 inch memory foam over an innerspring mattress. Small closet spaces are in each bedroom for storage. A kitchenette is in the unit for preparing quick meals, although there's limited space for prepping meals. No dishwasher, but dish towels and a dish cloth and dish soap are provided for easy hand washing. TV trays are stored in a closet. A single serve coffee maker and a variety of coffee / cocoa selections are provided. Egyptian towels are provided in the bath. A hair dryer is also provided under the sink. Please over look our exterior at this time! Our area has some new business being built around us and the exterior of our building is currently under some renovation construction.

Guests have access to the steps / foyer to the building and entire unit #2.

This is an upstairs unit that has 16 steps to reach to the second floor landing.

Just What We Wanted

Frieda's apartment was the perfect place for my son and myself to stay for a visit to EKU. It was very clean, a very convenient location, had everything we needed, quick communication and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Beds are so comfortable compared to hotels in Richmond.

The place is pristine, clean and confortable. Central location, not far from I75. Property is next to a marble, granite factory and in working hours, sometime can be noisy.

Cozy and clean

Perfect little place for a quick stop. Near I-75 and restaurants. Clean and well-stocked with supplies. Richmond is a nice little town. Easy check-in. Owner made herself available though we had no need to contact her.

Nice place and Great Location

Perfect for four adults and the location is close to EKU campus and anything else you could want. Cozy two bedroom with everything you need. Owner supplies more than enough things for the stay. TV continuously resets the “guest mode” but we were not in town for watching television. Wi-Fi spotty at best until one of the other guests left after the first night. Overall a nice place and we would stay again.

Move in to EKU

This property was an absolute delight to stay at. Recently moved my daughter back into Eku after winter break and needed a close and convenient place to stay. The space was immaculate and the beds were a dream. Our host Freida was readily available to answer any questions. And she went above and beyond with our odd request for a vacuum for space saving our luggage. It was outside the door asap. Also she was extremely accommodating to our request for an extra night due to flight changes. A definite A in my book. Will stay again no question.

So cozy and convenient

My husband and I were in town to visit my cousins who are so hospitable but sometimes it’s just nice to have your own space and not have to sleep on an air mattress. :) Our stay here was lovely, it was everything we needed. Perfect amount of space to spread out our things for the weekend and get a good night’s sleep. I was very impressed with how clean everything was. The shower especially - you never know exactly what you’re getting when you rent or get a room for a weekend and it was truly easy to feel safe and comfortable in this space. It was nice to be out during the day with family and then return to our weekend “home” to wind down on the super comfortable couch with reclining seats. 10/10 recommend!!!

Cant say enough good things. My knees didnt like the stairs but the apartment was GREAT! Super clean, well equipped, comfy bed, nice a quiet, plenty of hot water, (yes thats important) Super close to everything.... PERFECT get away. Thank you - we had a very nice family weekend.
