Excellent

Had a lovely stay for four nights. Property is in a great location to explore, ferry from Glenelg to Skye £20 return. Very secluded, property had everything supplied, bedding, toilet roll, towels, utilities, washing up liquid, tea towels, salt & pepper etc. Glenelg is a ten minute walk. Great place to explore. Managed to see the otters opposite the Glenelg ferry, the sea eagles and a golden eagle near Sandaig. Had no phone signal but WiFi is spot on along with tv. Came back very relaxed, plan on returning next year. The river is a five minute walk from the property. Excellent for wildlife.

Beautiful quiet remote location, great value stay

No phone reception and pretty remote with only 1 pub & shop in local village otherwise it's quite a drive to anywhere with more shops/choice etc.. but that's all part of the attraction!

Die Unterkunft hat den "70'er-Jahre-Charme", war aber sauber und ordentlich. Die Umgebung dagegen ist einfach nur atemberaubend.

Comfortable, cosy and peaceful

We enjoyed the cosiness and warmth of the chalet as it was a wet and chilly time when we were there. Still loved it though and enjoyed the quiet. It's not far from the Glenelg Ferry to Isle of Skye, or if you want a longer but also scenic drive then the bridge to Skye is within easy reach. Effie is a lovely hostess who made the checkin a simple process.

Last minute option after arriving late from Skye

The location of the property is quite remote - depending on where you want to visit, although it is quite convenient for the small ferry that operates from Glenelg to Kyleakin on Skye.

Perdu dans la montagne. Un seul resto à 3kms mais complet le soir. Une épicerie qui ferme à 18h. Il faut rouler 40 mn dans la montagne pour trouver un proxy et 40mn le retour ; faites vos courses avant d’arriver...

Out in the countryside.

The furnishings were second hand and appliances worn. Bed was very uncomfortable. Some chalets have better views than others. Long drive down single lane road created extra time to get to sightseeing locations on Isle of Skye.
