"A home reminiscent of a bygone era when life was uncomplicated and holidays were filled with simple pleasures of mucking about in boats and watching the sunset on the deck while a BBQ cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed this house for recapturing that experience. It was well provisioned with everything we needed. Highly recommend. "

"The property was nice & clean. Had great central heating. Neat & tidy. Owner was great to communicate with. Loved that they provided breakfast snacks. I do think it could have been priced lower as there was no lounge, dinning or communal area. Dinner table was outside on the patio & it was freezing & raining. Was also good that they were pet friendly & didnt charge additional on top of the accommodation cost. Nice place overall. "

"its a simple old house but its cozy and warm with magnificent views, good hot water for shower and some nice local coffee and honey for us to enjoy when we arrived. location atop the hill and a short 3min drive into town or a nice waters edge walk for about 20 minutes. pet friendly was nice too although the yard for the dog was quite small but adequate"

"My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and short walk to the ferry. Saw plenty of koalas on the island. The house itself was clean and we really enjoyed the games room. Only some minor criticism was lack of/dim lighting in the main living area (at night) and some dampness on the carpet in the games room which I am told is being fixed. I recommend and would stay again"

"We had 3 days in Paynesville and were able to have our dogs with us. This property has secure fencing and welcomes four legged family members. If you don't ride bicyles its quite a way from the centre of town. The house was well equipped and clean."

"Accommodation was excellent except the third bedroom was advertised as a twin room not a double bed and upper bunk. As the four of us are all over 70 years old a twin room would have been better. Unfortunately there was a very large fire on the Saturday night directly behind the neibours house that we had to report to the fire brigade after waking up the neibours. Apart from this the house was excellent and we would be very happy to stay there again. like to stay there again next year"
