Another time at Tanote Bay Family Resort

It was my sixth stay in this resort, what remains unchanged is staff - always full of smiles and really helpfull, beatiful beach, nice lonely location, perfect snorkeling, great food in restaurant. On the other hand food and drinks are quite expensive, no room cleaning, bungalow was poor equipped, little bit dirty, but still adequate to price! Would visit again.

The location and the staff are just excellent….5 stars to Beem, front desk and general all-around everything guy with good English. We loved it here….its not for the city princesses or those that haven’t roughed it a little. Never had hot water…it’s steep everywhere here, beers are a little more money but the diving and snorkeling more than make up for it. Liked it here a lot.

The room had no water, tea or coffee. Only two electrical outlets besides refrigerators, none in bathroom. No restaurant on site. Had to walk over rough terrain to get to neighboring site to get something to eat or coffee. Obviously had not been maintained in a while. The staff were personable and tried to meet needs. The bed only a bottom sheet and a top sheet folded in with towels. No blanket or comforter.

Da das Hotel den Besitzer gerade wechselte, war nie ein Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption und das Restaurant war selten bis gar nicht geöffnet.

Emplacement magnifique mais bungalows sommaires

Emplacement exceptionnel dans la magnifique baie de Tanote encore préservée du monde et géniale pour le snorkelling. Personnel vraiment très sympathique et disponible (un merci spécial à la jeune fille adorable du restaurant :), et bonne cuisine même si un peu chère. Par contre bungalows très sommaires, pas très propres et en mauvais état (en tous cas le nôtre ) et surtout nous nous sommes fait dévorer par les punaises de lit et en ramenons donc certainement dans nos bagages ce qui est un vrai problème... Nous déconseillons donc fortement le bungalow 22. Hormis les punaises, si vous ne cherchez pas le luxe c'est un endroit très agréable :)

Bokade en bungalow utan ac, rummet var enligt förväntan. Dåligt tryck i duschen dock samt att jag fick betala igen vid incheckning då hon inte godkände online betalning. Fick tillbaka pengarna av hotels så det löse sig. Trevlig personal i restaurangen och fint läge för en lugn semester med fin strand

Bon plan

Personnel très gentil. Nous avions pris la suite parentale qui a l'avantage d'avoir la clim et un réfrigérateur. Mais contrairement aux autres chambres elle n'a pas de vue. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Beaucoup de poissons visibles avecun masque très facilement.

Agréable séjour à Tanote Baie

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Nous devions avoir 2 bungalows simple en bois (bp de marches à monter, mobilier simple et pas d'eau chaude) et le responsable nous à proposé une chambre de 4 personnes plus récente et plus/mieux équipée (clim, eau chaude et tt prêt de la plage). La plage de Tanote est une des plus belle plage de l'île (et nous avons vu une quantité de poissons incroyables ! Meme un tt petit requin à pointe noire !! Top). Il y a un club de plongée juste à côté (langue allemande, française et anglaise !). Plusieurs restos à proximité (celui de l'hôtel est très bien mais ferme à 21h !). L'île est toute petite mais mieux qd même de louer un scooter. Tout ce que nous avions lu sur la location de scooter à Tao nous avait fait peur (grosse pente et arnaque des loueurs). Nous avons loué juste à côté de l'hôtel un scooter tt abîmé (tant mieux) et en effet le loueur était super cool et n'a même pas vérifié l'état du scooter au retour (250 bath par jour). Et pour ce qui est de la géographie de l'île, les gens font peur pour presque rien, il suffit de rouler tranquille !! L'hôtel mériterait d'être mieux entretenu parfois mais vu le prix j'y retournerai avec plaisir !

Traumhafter Blick über die Bucht. Gutes Essen im angeschlossen Restaurant. Personal an der Rezeption recht unfreundlich. An den meisten Unterkünften wurde anscheinend schon lange gewenig gemacht. Der beworbene Transferservice in den Ort kann zweimal täglich genutzt werden. Die Rückfahrt kostet dann unangekündigt den doppelten Preis.

Schöne Anlage - dürftiges Essen

Wunderschöne Gartenanlage. Die Bungalows sind sauber und erfüllen ihren Zweck, Heißwasser ist eher rar, das Mobilar sollte dringend ersetzt werden. Einziger echter Minuspunkt ist das Essen, aber es gibt am Strand gute Alternativen. Ohne Aircon kann es im Zimmer sehr heiß werden. Wäschekluppen mitnehmen, es geht ständig der Wind. Ausflugsboot am anderen Ende des Strandes buchen (neben dem Massagesalon)

nice bungalows close right at the beach

We stayed at family tanote bay resort in September 2017 as a family of four. We booked 2 bungalows close together. The booking worked out fine. Questions we had send via e-Mail to the hotel were answered immediately. The bungalows are simple but clean. Our kids loved the hammock on the balcony of the bungalow. The View over the bay is just great. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach. Great snorkeling right there. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of breakfast dishes and very good dinner offers. We rented a bungalow with a ceiling fan. It was very warm at night - so next time we probably would go for aircondition. The staff was helpful and friendly ! During our stay (6 days) there was no room service, but if you needed new towels, toilet paper (or anything else) you got everything immediately at the reception.

Pay for fantastic view

Bungalow basic, but amazing view. Staff unfriendly, food not tasty. Good Coffee! The bay is not good for Kids, too many corals and stones at the beach. Many snorklers standing on corals, demaging them! For Kids we recommend Ao Leuk. We enjoyed the choice of nice Restaurants at the small beach. Few days at tanote family Resort are Ok. We would not choose them again. Nicer Resorts around.

Nice Bungalows - Great view

Always great to stay there. I love the bungalows with their great view. They are quite simple, but that's all I need. Very quiet bay. WiFi was also pretty good in the Restaurant - doesn't work what well outside of it though. Would go there again.

Very nice location and staff

We stayed in a small bungalow up the hill, the view from there was amazing! We had our own bathroom and a fan, it was so windy up on the hill so we did not even miss ac. The staff was super friendly and always happy to be at our service. The restaurant is cozy with fenomenal food for a cheap price! The beach is beautiful and the hotel offers sunchairs and hammocks at the beach for free. The water is clear blue and full of fish! We booked snorkling trips through the reception and they also have taxi service..

Einfache Bungalows mit traumhaften Meerblick

Die Bungalows sind einfach, aber sauber! Das man kein warm Wasser hat stört überhaupt nicht! Der Meerblick ist gigantisch! Der Staff ist sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit! Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert! Tanote Bay ist wunderschön! Ich würde sofort wieder hingehen
