Kairakau Hideaway close to beach!

Kairakau Beach, fifty minutes from Hastings, thirty-five minutes to local shops and twenty minutes to the country pub. This is the ultimate getaway. Small sandy beach, suited to families, with a stunning backdrop of rocky hills. The community tennis court, estuary, and safe streets make it perfect for kids to do their own thing. Bring the boat and fishing rods. Plenty of native bush to encourage bird song and a sense of getting away from it all.

Great Long Weekend

Even with crazy winds for a couple of days, there was plenty to do at the bach. Once the wind was gone, just a quick walk to the beach, great place!

Relaxing retreat

This was the ideal location to get away from the hustle and bustle. It was lovely to take winter walks on the beach then come home to a comfy fire with a good book and a glass of something nice!

This Bach has everything you could need for your weekend away. Well appointed kitchen, cozy, clean and a comfortable bed. The beach is perfect for swimming, long walks, rockhounding and just general mooching around.

Quiet location close to town

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was warm thanks to the fire and wood provided. A short walk to the beach where we enjoyed playing in the sand and waves. Thank you for sharing your bach with us.

September Break.

Had a wonderful couple of days here, all the facilities you need. So nice and warm in the evenings with the fireplace. Loved playing tennis! Everything was great, thank you for our stay.
