A dandy house right on the lake

We love the spaciousness of this house! It was quite comfortable for the 5 of us; Gramma, mom,dad, son 9 and daughter11. The kids loved the air hockey table and foosball table of course. Everybody loved the HUGE bean bag chairs! The boys loved the fishing right off the dock. Gramma and mom were so happy to have a beautiful kitchen to cook in and morning coffees on the deck! A short drive to shopping in Grove. We would choose this house again even though the water was stinky! (Thanks for warning us)

Restful seclusion

We wanted a place to stay just to relax and let our Labrador retriever to swim and play and this place turned out to be perfect! We spent most of our time sitting outside atop the little hill it sits on watching boats go by and listening to the birds. If you’re looking for a private little lake cabin, this one is great! On the drive in and out -which is real and thick forest- we saw lots of deer, including a mama doe and a young spotted fawn. We drove in to Grove one day for lunch. It’s a short drive with beautiful scenery. We had plenty of towels and other necessities. All was great.

The view is beautiful and my brother enjoyed fishing. My sister was concerned that the property has a sign warning of snakes and the property had not been mowed. Access to the property is a steep, washed, rock and gravel road. The house is small with minimal food prep/counter space. The full bath and 1/2 bath are side by side with a pocket door between. The bedrooms are small and back to back. The house has thin walls and no sound proofing.

Absolutely awesome

The guest house was spotless and very clean!! The beds were great. The yard was very shaded and the view was beautiful!!!! We are all older and was the the best place to relax and do some fishing!! The dock was amazing!! And the fish was really biting!!! My older sister had the time of her life!!! She will NEVER forget the MEMORIES we made.
