The wood-burning fireplace keeps the vacation rental comfortable even during the winter. The expansive deck is ideal for relaxing and breathing in the summer mountain air while sipping your morning coffee. Pack your tennis gear to access the Tyrolean Village summer community tennis courts right behind the property!

Skiers will be thrilled that Diamond Peak Ski Resort is less than a mile away. If you're feeling energetic, walk to the base of the mountain! Golfers will no doubt want to test the Incline Village Championship Golf Course greens, a two-mile drive from this home. In the summer, drive a little less than three miles to explore Incline Beach's soft sands as the kids romp around on the playground or swim in the waters of Crystal Bay. And just across the street, you will find Grand Lodge Casino and several restaurants to try.

THINGS TO KNOW
Incline Village, private beach access, is unavailable to guests. Beaches outside Incline Village may be open; visit the Tahoe Public Beach website for details. Recreation center amenities (fitness center, pools, group fitness classes, etc.) are available to the public for a daily drop-in fee

Would not recommend: dirty
The location and building were fine; it's very rustic and simple, albeit warm and spacious enough for a family of 4. But it wasn't cleaned prior to us arriving, so we had to deal with dirty towels and sheets and unmade beds, dirty dishes around the kitchen and overflowing trash cans. We had to do all the cleaning of the previous guests' mess and coordinate new linens to be delivered. Disappointing. Close enough location to ski hills though which was a plus.

Basic but perfect for our stay
This house is cute but dated with a huge dead tree in front that looks like it could fall anytime. That made us nervous. The master bed was unusable for 2 people - too soft/old so that if 2 people were in the bed they rolled into the crevass in the middle of the bed. We had to sleep upstairs in a twin. There were key things missing in this unit that we needed to buy: kitchen sponge, hot pad, cooking supplies. Having said that, the location was great for us because we are renovating our home down the street. Parking is only for 1 vehicle which was fine but we couldn't have friends visit for lack of a place for them to park. For the most part, the linens were nice and the place was clean which is the most important thing.

Nice comfortable place
Worked out really well for us, nice to visit Truckee, King Beach, Lake Tahoe attractions, etc. Close to the flume trail and sand harbor. Lots of sleeping space. Queen bed mattress was in bad shape but oddly comfortable. Altogether good!

Great easy stay for two families
We stayed here for a wedding and we had two infants with us. We loved staying here, it was a great neighborhood and very quiet for two young families. It was tucked away up the hill and still close to everything. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity. It had everything we needed and we put up a baby gate at the stairs and we were good to go! Thank you again for a lovely stay!

This was a cute house in the neighborhood above Diamond Peak. Great location and it served our needs well. We had a great time. The only thing I'd say could be improved is if it had a washer/dryer.

Nice property close to Diamond peak. Steps should have been salted they were covered in thick ice. Parking is not great if you drive a truck. Master bedroom bed is saggy but house is clean. It worked great for a short stay close to the mountain.
