A great place to spend Thanksgiving!

Despite the cold, the kids loved playing pingpong in the basement. Everyone enjoyed having fires every evening, and the rooms were spacious.

Family Time

We enjoyed the house as it had a reasonably equipped kitchen, bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms. A nice living room and porch. Areas for improvement: dishwasher needs to be anchored to the counter, light bulbs need replacing, spider webs bugs need to be removed in basement, ping pong paddles hidden in couches, railing on back porch is unsafe do to its open design,

Appears abandoned / minimally used

This was probably one of the worst vacation rental experiences we have had. First, the house appeared to have been abandoned; there were so many cobwebs throughout the house that you would constantly get covered in spiderwebs just walking through doors. It looked like the cleaners had forgotten to do their job, there were multiple bugs in the toilet bowl, used bars of soap in the shower, and all the surfaces were dusty. In addition, of the two bathrooms on the main floor, one of the toilets did not work. The wifi was also inaccessible. We texted Vacasa support about these issues after we came in late Friday night, and they offered to send someone Saturday morning from their local office. Though that representative was polite, she was unable to fix the wifi, and the toilet remained minimally functional. We spent the entirety of our trip without wifi (she said she would text the owners to find out the wifi password / setup situation, but we never heard back, and frankly we gave up after already spending hours dealing with the issues in the house). Overall, I would not recommend this property.

Unlike the photos on the site, the house was in need of a deep cleaning and showed damage from hard use (torn wallpaper, dirty carpets, etc). More troubling were dirty sheets on one of the beds (owner changed them for us), a lack of washcloths/towels (owners found hand towels instead when reported) and a non-working toilet on the main floor of the home requiring senior guests to navigate to a basement bath. The toilet issue was reported within 2 hours of check-in on Friday but was not corrected during our weekend stay. We have been told we will get partial refund for our issues. We would not go back to this house. It's unfortunate because the bones of the house and layout were fine and accommodating for a group, but deferred maintenance, inaccurate response from the local property management team and the lack of a sense of urgency to resolve the situation left us disappointed. Having booked the stay for friends, it was embarrassing to have them have to navigate to an unfinished basement to use the restroom the entire weekend. We are lucky we have flexible friends with a good attitude - but we will not repeat and would suggest any future renters inspect the situation closely.Did I mention the ant infestation? On Saturday night the maintenance person showed up and handed us a box of ant traps and asked that we distribute where we were seeing bugs....Upside? Owners tried to help and encouraged us to provide feedback. All issues found could be addressed by maintenance
